I would like to apologize to all supporters for the insipid performance by the Blues.
My 10yr old son and I have made the 400km round trip twice this year to watch the boys play, which were the Gold Coast & Freo games.

We feel that we must be a bad omen and are the reason for their poor performance when we are in their presence.
We had plans to come down again this weekend to watch them take on Collingwood.

Feel assured the two of us have agreed, for the better of the club that we should stay away this weekend, and are sure that with is, you the supporters
will see a better performance against Collingwood !

2 wins from our last 22 and we won’t be adding to the wins tally this week. We’ll fire up for a 7 goal loss

Leave Casboult at FF for 80% of the game. He can give Jones and Kruezer some bench time

Drop Rowe

Jones plays as 2nd ruck/follower and must be instructed to block the hole in front of Cox (get it...hole and Cox...I sound like Kelvin Cunnington) or act as a fwd option if Kruezer off the ground and Casboult is rucking

Kerr may as well stay in for another game.

There's one tall less

The INs...don't know...any FCOTP Polson as one of the ins?

having my wisdom teeth taken out on friday afternoon.

can honestly say im looking forward to it, as it gives me a reason not to go to the footy!!

this will be a disaster. I hate to admit it, but they are actually playing a good brand of footy at the minute .. and under Buckley whoi i always thought could coach, he has just tried to get the list he wanted to be able to do it, and they have done that ... if nothing else richmond/collingwood should be a reference for us to consider ... they all turned the corner and stuck fat etc..

RESPECT OB.

I feel sorry for you.
Wasn't your little tacker on the big screen at three quarter time, was it?

Poor little bloke was up at 6am to drive to Melbourne to watch THAT.... broke my heart...

Poor Emily Angwin was smart enough to get off asap at half time when being drowned out by boos... (loudest thing I heard at the ground mind you)
She possibly only came back at three quarter time using the little tacker for coverage

Would be nice to see some passion and effort this week

Go Blues

This week could get to be very nasty and as much as I dislike admitting it Buckely has inspired his team to do well. Pies are playing great contemporary football, so enjoyable to watch , quick tough and reasonably skilled.
I'm looking forward to the clash against Lions as the next possible win for us.

I've had a horrid record since coming to Sydney. Apart from the qualifying final in... 2010?... we've been smashed horribly each time I've shown up (incl. vs. GWS when they hadn't "arrived" yet). And most non-Carlton games I've watched have been totally one-sided or just putrid spectacles. I was at Syd-WCE on Friday night and after seeing a combined 1.6 kicked in the first quarter I thought "here we go again". At least the game was something of a contest, though for 1st vs. 3rd the skill level was underwhelming to say the least.

Come to think of it, my track record in Melbourne was patchy too. I remember taking a Canadian visitor to see a game... it was Hawthorn v. North and I think the winning margin was 130 points or something.

Anyway... three years until I can start taking my boy to games and trying to convince him not to support the red-and-white team. Hopefully I won't be making my case with the home team up by 12 goals at halftime...

Leave him there for another week, he’s not very durable and is still likely off the pace for seniors.

I’d like him back too, but he wouldn’t have played for 3 weeks and could potentially be under-done if he’s been ill. I’d give him a run in the VFL next week.

Can we bring in a new team rule that if you mark the ball inside 50, and are within 40 from goal - TAKE THE FREAKIN' KICK??

I can see a pattern forming. We play like shit so supporters fear an absolute smashing the next week, then, when we only lose by 6 goals, we feel like it's a win

A cunning plan, indeed!
