Only one tall dropped, still too tall I reckon.

Four tall defenders to take on Cox and Mihocek. Expect Stephenson, WHE, Thomas etc to give us hell.

Hope Kennedy and Polson can have big games.

Why are we playing Jones and Rowe again?

Do the Pies have two key forwards?

Surely Jones can play on Cox?

How does Rowe survive after last weeks game.
He ended up forward after being so bad down back.
I'd rather have given young Shumacher a taste.
Obviously didn't learn from last time when there smalls tore us apart.

I still see Polson as a guy we can turn into that close-checking and quick BP we’ve been screaming for for years.

Maybe. I like what I’ve seen with Polson. Just isn’t a big ball winner yet, and seems just a touch off Having a breakout game.

He loves the hard stuff. That is what I like most.

Rowe has been a good soldier but he was awful last week and Collingwood only have one tall forward. Lamb is very lucky too, he just doesn't get the ball. Collingwood have gone small like the tigers forward line. Surely you want someone who can run off Cox, that's not Rowe. He is a liability with the ball.

Good to see Polson in

Not sure about Kennedy given his comments after last week's game, and would hate to see him break down on come back like so many of our guys this season. But.......if he's right then he's a must have.

If we bring the Sydney and Geelong effort we'll be competitive for a long time, but just can't see us kicking a big enough score to beat the Pies with their goal scoring spread.

Pies by 40.

Not good to see Polson in ... he can't get a kick in the NB's

I don't even know where to start with the Mullet selection.

The match selection committee is starting to resemble the one in the Madhouse era (error).

Who else would you bring in? Obviously Rowe is going to miss so they've bought in Mullet to replace him.
Firstly, he has played games with the other backmen so he knows their system and secondly, he's the right size and pace for some of their mid/small forwards like Stephenson and Sidebottom. I'm not a big fan but I think he's the right choice for this game.

WRONG!

Don't get why Rowe is included. I agree with the previous comments. We do not need 3 talls in the backline especially when 2 are slow..

Yep. I'm stumped by that decision.

Slightly less tall, not enough pace... Against a team which will run and scramble, it will be interesting to see our game plan

I didn't see last weeks game (o/s for another two weeks) but was Graham and Lang that much worse than everybody else? I thought Lang was settling in OK and would be handy against the Pies.

I think we have gone for speed in the backline.

Probably because Jones can’t be trusted on his own in a key role.

I’m hoping Macreadie comes back soon, he is the future. Although not ready size wise, such a better footballer than Rowe and Jones.

His lack of preseason, thus fitness has stood out. His skill stands out when he has it, but look at his first half output to second half and it’s obvious fitness is an issue.

Lang was ordinary last week. Not match fit at all.
