Ghastly. Positive was side being jeered off at half time, totally deserved it. Pathetic. Simmo very good second half. Jones okay. Fish good again. LOB looks like he has a bit of leadership. We are 8 midfielders away from being a good side. Big K is a shadow of last season. Casboult way underdone. Would have been better to play Phillips. Dow his very tough and classy but his disposal is worryingly untidy. Rowe dreadful. Kerridge too slow Graham good reserves player. Desperately need some pace. Pies will slaughter us next week. Any chance we will at some stage recruit a few players who can kick 20 metres to a teammate.

O'Brien had probably his best game for the club. He's starting to feel more comfortable and backing

he did have a good game. I'm not sure what his final stat line was, but i don't think he got too much more of it than usual? but it's what he did with it, and the way he went about it.

those intangible things he brought today is what i've been saying he's been lacking until this game. hopefully this is his breakout game.

Stuck it out for the whole game
Positives - Carlton Draft was tasty
Got smashed in the middle, couple of quality mids to help Cripps would be great
On a small ground that few inside 50s was atrocious
Hope we get a few players back soon, but we are a LOOOONG way off it

And we don't think we need a priority pick!! Our football dept. must be complete fools, this is the worst Carlton team I have ever seen.

Scored free Medallion Club tickets and was excited going into this...trainwreck! Apparently we're OK though and dont need a Priority Pick!

We had more Disposals. We had more Kicks. We had more Handballs. We had more Free Kicks! We had more Stoppages.
Clearances we even. Contested Possessions were pretty even. They killed us in the tackle count, center clearances and hit outs.

What does the above tell you? I have absolutely no bloody idea and wish someone could tell me :P

Same. Stayed to the end.
I cannot remember a poorer first half for a very long time.
I didn't boo the players at half time but they deserved it.
Cripps and Simmo can hold their heads up high.
So many players were down today it wasn't funny.
Just hard to see how we get out of this hole we are in.

I've been following since around '66 and I can't remember a Carlton side being booed off at half time.

You could see after the first 3 the belief balloon went Pop.

Yep

Go figure why.

That can be fixed. Take out the cancer.

This loss must not be tolerated. No excuses are acceptable. Truly embarrasing.

Unfortunately, the booing was justified. Watching the game and looking at the team on the field, I am stunned that the club has stated that we don't want a priorirty pick. With free agency, it now takes way too long to re-build teams. We need to back track and request a priorirty pick. We are years away. I keep looking for hope, see signs and then whack, we get smashed. Disillusioned again.

Only game that can be compared is last round 2003.

Definitely deserved to be get booed of at half time today. At the game you could clearly see multiple players chasing just for appearance. Lang an example a few times.
I can take being shit but lack of effort no supporter should take.

the same pagan teams that lost 30+ games by 60 points + ?

look we're not going well, but those early pagan teams had zero talent outside of fev and a cpl of ageing stars like lappin and kouta

I’ll name who I saw today. Thomas, Graham, ed (got heaps of it but turned it over more often than not)
Kerridge, Plowman and Cripps really butchered it a few times but I’ll give him a pass. Lamb need to go as well

You can only call it as you see it.

I saw it.

It isn't necessarily a player but it is a 'type'.

The modern player needs more than one weapon, and stamina is a given.
