not surprising we're devoid of leadership and mature heads.

Kennedy's career would have been finished about 5 years ago if he remained at Carlton

Yep Touhy perhaps, Impressive 10 players any 2 or 3 make would
a difference to our lads right now. We're running around rudderless.

Well done Sellers on AFL 360

Unfortunately as he said players are
Not putting in and been given games

Drop the guys that don’t put in

Give DeKonning and the Schu a go
This week

Make a statement Bolton
After that first half it’s time to really
Change the culture

Is this thread supposed to be a place to alleviate pain or be reminded of it?
Reading through this list, of all these players I wish the Blues had kept I would nominate Eddie Betts. A crying shame.
A crying shame.

TICK.

Got to stand for something or minimum standards.

I like DeKonings enthusiasm.

Not good news for some posters

Two exceptions exist in Marchbank and Plowman, the two most promising players gleaned from Carlton’s GWS asset recycling program.

One thing we really need to rectify apart from the midfield which is almost nonexistent ... is our speed by player and our speed of ball movement ...

Shows what a loss Marchbank is
Jones a better season than most
Fisher really good season

Not deep enough midfield
Forward line top heavy

Very good article.

The loss of Marchbank, Doc, Willo and Byrne have had a massive impact. Byrne obviously isn’t at Docs level, but he is similar type of player and would’ve played his role this year better than anyone we have.

Jones/Rowe just aren’t up to standard. Yet Jones is unstoppable at present.

Can’t wait for Macreadie to get back.

Looked alright in the first quarter against the tiges.... And against the Saints in the JLT....

I think if you look at the players and the play, then, versus now, you'll see that it's the personnel we can get on the park rather than the list in general which is limiting our run and carry

Go Blues

When do people think we'll stop being content with the participation ribbon? What round... what year?

"So proud of the effort"... "honourable loss" get thrown around a lot, even by me at stages but it's starting to make me feel like vomiting of late.

Agree.

If winning isn't everything (or the only thing as some would say), it's the most important thing.

I'll have a cry over the fact that during another week where we have to settle for more "small victories" and "green shoots", the other teams in our part of the ladder (and in our way) all rose to a whole different level.

When will it be our time for the cards to fall our way?? :banghead:

Well thanks a flower lot Carlton !
My 10yr old young bloke, yesterday, threw his Carlton merchandise in the bin.

His Words, "I cant do this anymore, they are just shit !" He was so upset :(
Over the last few years, I've encouraged him to keep faith, things will turn and good things
will come to the Carlton Football Club !
They've made a liar out of me !

I really believe I've lost him !
Now I'm crying !
