This game will come down to whether Lyon has flossed his teeth or not...

ASOS in for Rowe.

Given his severe lack of footy this year, ASOS will play at least 2 VFL games before he’s considered for selection, just a pity no NB’s game next week to speed up that process

The last 2 years we have fallen away markedly after a pretty solid first half of the year.

Here’s hoping this year is the opposite and we have a materially better second half of the season.

Starting with this game.

Usual MRP - low impact - he didn't kill him

Not much to see here

He may get fined $1,000.00

Ran past the ball.
Late.
High forearm to the lug.
Left the ground.
Brownlow favourite.

The last is the most important factor.

Actually, most important is playing Carlton soon.

If he appeals and loses the appeal would the suspension remain at 1 week or would it be extended to two weeks?

We should be cherry ripe after the bye too, as a group.

We will win this, and relegate the Saints to bottom 2

Lebois or Pickett need to be brought in.

Both will need to come back through the VFL.

All going well, we should have the following returning from injury this round or the round after-

Byrne
Casboult
Kennedy
LeBois
Macreadie
Marchbank
McDaid
Phillips
Pickett
A. Silvagni

Casboult & Marchbank might come straight in, but you’d reckon the rest will need a run in the VFL first.

Casboult should stay out -- I've never heard him spoken of so well in this forum as I have since he stopped playing.

It has remained at one week.

I am actually really happy to have a week off. This season has been exhausting.... yes I had some Hope's for improvement and the skill errors are just draining. Imagine being out there?

I too feel the need for a break...for one week.

We need to see some of the injured troops return to the battlefield.
