I’m surprised to be sitting in my lounge room surrounded by a broken aroma candle holder, a broken remote control a broken leg off the coffee table a broken picture frame and anything else that was within arms reach.

General play we matched them all night it was the the kicking into the 50 and finishing in that 3rd qtr that cost us a chance to make it a real cliffhanger. So many points in a row when had momentum in that 3rd qtr.

Daisy and Simmo both need to retire at season end

Probably been Daisy's best season as a Carlton player (not that that's saying much) but tonight was a pale brown stinker.

Hard to watch Simmo these days... he's bled blue for decades but it seems like every touch is an assist to the opposition.

Celebrate another 5 goal loss.
Lòoking at the stats 9 minutes in 3rd to 16 minutes 4 behinds in a row and one to start last quarter.
Please tell me they weren't set shots

Yep. All of them.

Cripps was a rushed kick out of a stoppage IIRC.

Australia and Carlton have a lot in common- both teams have scored 3 goals in a half of football.

Yes 4 gettable shots for goal in third quarter when we dominated
Terrible composure and really deflating lost game there and then
Positives
Kerr looks like a player
Dow first goal
Another game for Kerr Dow obrien

Fisher good
Charlie good
Weiters and Jones pretty good
Jack looked better
Negatives

Performance of Kreuz and Thomas and Simpson in second half

Do the swans ever get paid holding the ball against them

Kicking for goal in the third quarter

Disposal

OShea

Kicking to Grundy as if he was a Carlton forward

Very different viewpoint from King and Dermie who talked up Carlton's effort and future to Roos who called this a comprehensive defeat.
What did we do to this bloke?

A broken man following a broken club Aggers ?

But there is a future. One without O'Shite and Daisy, and Kerridge (yes tries hard but kills us...no premiership team has them). With a full list plus recruits we should start the climb next year.

I really aren't sure about SPS. On form his future seems bleak. But early days and showed enough in his first year to think he was a gun. Next year is his big year for me.....

Swans were ordinary. We were woeful.

We have a non existent game plan which kills us and will stifle our development.

O'Shea simply doesn't care where he kicks the ball. Cannot believe he keeps getting picked. Up there with one of the worst Carlton players ever.

Not broken just angry - I get very angry when we lose.

This century I’ve been angry 66% of the time.

Agree with all of this.

Also SPS improving his game again tonight. Starting to show a bit of mongrel and look a lot more dangerous.

Handicap was 48.5 points

If only we'd kicked straight.

As usual dominated a lot of the 3rd quarter but couldn't convert.

Competitive with Cripps scragged and on one leg.

Kerr presenting well.

C Curnow pretty good while getting scragged as well.

Not a bad comeback from Silvagni.

Kerridge some very good and bad as usual.

Jones pretty good in defence.

Kreuzer a poor showing, letting that spud Sinclair out mark him so often and hurt him up forward.

Lang good first half then ran out of puff.

We are playing with 21 every match that O'Brien plays at the moment unfortunately.

Lamb not enough of the ball as usual.

Dow the 2nd most clearances.

o'brien that bad really?

Franklin gets two goals from frees. One when Rowe’s finger gets caught in his jumper. The other from a dubious 50m penalty. Sinclair and Kreuzer wrestle and a free is plucked to Sinclair, he goals. Heeney. Parker. Both dead in front.

Meanwhile C Curnow and Wright get free kicks on goal and miss.

Comprehensive.

He's like Dwayno.....has scars as a player when we used to touch up his team. Both of them would have loved to play for us back in those days lol.
