If there is one ground in the comp that sits a long kick from the middle into the F50, it's the SCG but it has to be fast.
Franklin ripped us a new one last time and I think he will do it again. Amazing player. Possibly the best I have ever seen.

Whateley actually put that question to Liddle on air a few weeks back. Something like 'surely you agree whilst developing you shouldn't play friday nights'...Liddle fielded it beautifully. Can't remember exactly how..but yeah... that happened. Whateley is of the type where to know him more is to like him way less. No doubt we will be competitive again. If SPS had kicked straight we just might have won against cats. Stick that up your suit coat Gerard!

Don't Sydney request to play Carlton Friday night?

Watching the 2s highlights I'd like to see Jack come in for a run in the midfield. Very smart user of the ball when he has it.

Tipping an upset. We can win this.We bemoan our defensive style, but that is exactly what Sydney hate coz they play that style themselves.Dish 'em up there own medicine.........couldnt care if we only score two goals so long as they only score one.The more congestion the better for mine.Give 'em the Boston Strangler treatment, they hate it.

Can't see it.

Sydney will pick apart our weaknesses in a way that Geelong couldn't be bothered doing.

Difference between Swans and Geelong.
Sydney are a hard working team.
Their mids run both ways.
Their close in ball use is elite.
They have a ruckman.
Buddy.

Have we identified or more importantly can we develop another inside midfield beast?
Would be interesting to watch Cripps/SOJ changing forward / mid.

I have mentioned it before ( and got howled down ) but his Pa was a great ruckrover.Started out as a CHB actually till the great man Ronald Dale Barassi made the inspired move to throw him in the guts to exploit his great power and strength..............Jack is easy to knock because of his glaring lack of pace.He will overcome this with his great footy IQ,nous, smarts, whatever you like to call it.And he has inherited that immeasurable quality courage. He aint scared.Reckon he would be too petrified to walk through the front door if he squibbed.Reckon the pain of a big hit would be nothin' compared to spray from the old man or even worse Pa.

What about the Shu taking O'Shea's spot.

It's hard to hide a lack of pace these days.
Sergio was good in his time but wouldn't get a game today.
I agree about the spray, though. Both Sergio and Steven were fearless and Jack is too.

I think you're right.
Sydney are a hard working team. Mids run run run both ways all game.

It seems top me Carlton's defensive game plan works well with cocky teams who play an attacking style.
If the opposition have a ruck man who wins taps we lose the ascendency Kreuzer has as the follow up ruck rover after the nil all tap.
