Need a better mindset going into this game.

Can we try and not gift them possession with dumb free kicks or careless disposal.

Work ethic, provide a good option to your team mate, just some basics , please.

Trample Dangerfield into the dirt and I’ll be happy.

We should bite the bullet.

Out: O’shite Garlett Rowe Mullett and give O’Brien a rest
In Weitering Jsos Cunningham Ed and Charlie

Give Kerr another go, even if it’ll hurt more than help

Lol.......amazing isn't it ? At least they showed that you can go from the worst kind of shite to a winner in 7 days. All they did against the Cats was have a crack, maintain pressure and have the guts to take the game on, which we rarely do any more. We went too attacking early in the year, and then back to defensive and now, well I reckon they don't know what they're doing.

Sorely missed the X factor of Charlie and the grunt of Ed today. Pickett and Williamson are also much needed, for pace and kicking too.

Cats on rebound will destroy us I reckon. 10 goals plus thumping coming up.

Top pick a show now too, as I reckon the Brions will win a few more home games

These guys are real handbags, a bit of pressure and they go to water.
Having said that if we play the same structure and again with no intensity we will get thumped.
We have played maybe 8 quarters this year with intent, that's pathetic.
If we play the same defensive structure again turn off early and save the aggravation.

I'm heading down too. Sitting in Geelong social club... Nice quiet night...

Start Charlie on Hawkins and they can discuss umpire contact.

If Essendon* beat them by daring footy, that's a signal to our coach.

Hey! Bolts! Wink wink, nudge nudge. Essendon* beat Geelong by playing daring footy!

Nup. Chip chip, go down the line to a contest, ball spills out, opposition goal. Rinse, repeat.

3 changes at least if both Curnows play and based on what Bolton said about Cunningham after the game.

I almost did, just because I live across the road from ground. Decided not to, not because of any anticipated result but because a) it always seems to be bloody freezing whenever Geelong play at home and b) I've had so many unpleasant experiences with locals at games I thought I'd save myself the grief.

Pretty happy with the decision at the moment.

Hmm...
We may gain 1st puck but lose a free agent who can’t see a pathway to success...
I’d rather win a few more games, offer hope to our preferred free agent(s) & get pick 4 instead of pick 1...

I would go
IN - Ed, Charlie, Cunningham
OUT - O'Shea, Garlett, and maybe give Dow/O'Brien a rest up.

I would like Weitering back just so we had someone to mark and control the ball from defence. Not having him or Marchbank there means we have 2 keys in Rowe and Jones who punch most of the time and turn it into a 50/50.

Yeah, I'm curious about the plan with Weitering. He needed to go back and regain some confidence. But how long till he comes back in?

In- Ed, Charlie, Cuningham, Marchbank

Out- O'Shea, Garlett, O'Brien, Kerr.

Kerridge (who had a disastrous game) to the forward pocket. He isn't a bad shot for goal but his kicks coming inside 50 are abysmal.
Kerr is stiff but we cant carry him, Harry and Charlie in the same forward line. O'Brien has a future but Geelong will smash him.
If Murphy is out, Garlett gets a reprieve.

For those who are going to this game, good on you. Personally, I think we'll give a very good contest.

It'll be 25 v 22 down there as usual.

The vermin will be up to his usual tricks.

The commentary will be ridiculous as usual so I'll be watching with the tv on mute.

I’d rather we send Marchbank to the VFL team to prove his fitness first, we are bringing too many injured players directly into the seniors where they have little impact because either they still haven’t sufficiently recovered or they re-injure....
