Oh boy. That was brutal. Its just one of those games where the opposition completely overwhelms every area of the game from the get go. We'll learn a lot from today, we really will. We got spanked, we'll review it, learn and move on to the Cats next week. For now, its like shell-shock, numb, did anyone catch the rego of the bus that ran us over?

Positives? Umm we get to do it all again next week? No one died out there today? Essendon* are still drug cheats? I dunno ...

The lack or response to one of Bolt's rare sprays was concerning. That last Q showed a complete lack of respect for the jumper for some players. Hmmmm.

Got sucked in playing their handball happy gamrplan in close. Unfortunately we don't have the skill to do that and we also weren't prepared to spread properly off the stoppage to hurt them. Also some of the positioning from O'Shea/Mullet/Simpson with the long ball coming in was an embarrassment. Impact the contest properly or just stay on the ground so they don't get an easy crumming goal.

Insipid performance

We are going nowhere fast

Good Free Agents will not come to Carlton if these performances persist

Carlton stated they will be targeting Free Agents

Our rebuild appears to be crumbling already

“We will learn from that game” ..... wasn’t that the response after the North game? I’m confident that we will cop some more batterings unfortunately.

Thought we would be relatively competitive today and allowing for the absence of the Curnows a loss of 5-6 goals however a defeat of 100+ points is awful.

Bolts is correct youth shouldn’t be an excuse. Today only 6 players 21 years and under.

Good luck blue boys Cats and Swans away in the next 2 weeks.

i much prefer cripps

Maybe Carl have offered him a below par contract and he's checking out...or it could just be because it's his first game back

Meh..he was a poor captain before the injury

Diabolical performance and one of the worse defensive performances possible 9 pr 10 Dees goals running into open goal

I know it isn't just our defensive unit but OShea Rowe mullet give us mono confidence whatsoever

OShea gave away 4 frees in forward 50 shocking get rid of him PLEASE
Rowe stand up stop keep falling over and think about where you are kicking

OShea mullet Rowe kerridge really putrid today gave us nothing

Thomas and Simpson average

Cripps good graham pretty good

H tried hard

Fisher tried hard
Thought Kerr tried hard but what a game to debut in

Dispirited efforts particularly in 3rd and 4th quarters

Felt sorry for Murp obviously injured battled hard

Will struggle to win without Curnows Byrne Marchbank Doherty Pickett Levi

Would love to see us use Kerridge deep in the forward line.

Luckily for me I had to choose between watching the second half or going to local pub to listen to a band play Sgt pepper album. Fantatstic but was gobsmacked to see end result.
Ah well next week.
