No one has the stamina to go with Ed.
He is irreplaceable.

Despite being young it would be great to see SOS in the midfield for periods.
Always wanted to see him as a Ruck Rover like his grandfather Sergio.
Plenty of footy IQ and would have plenty of motivation to keep his spot.

Not trying to be a Graham basher coz he was OK last week ( not great though) but IMO he's not the future whereat 20yo SOS potentially is. SOS is smart. He will earn frees.

I have no problem giving Graham a go as an inside mid...till Kennedy regains his fitness and finds some Agro and will to win the ball at all costs ala Crippa

It seems ridiculous leaving No. 1 draft Weitering in the reserves when we are developing players and gelling a team

What sickens me about all this Curnow umpire saga is the infiltration of the Geelong mafia and the unbalanced influence they have on the AFL.

Gerard Wheatley and his unbalanced views and heavy pressure to have them rubbed out.

Steve Hocking as a Senior Exec of the AFL, and his pressure to get the result he wants to make up for shafting Hawkins

Patrick Dangerfield as president of the Players association throwing 2 non Geelong players under the bus. The wolf in women's clothing.

If they are trying to scare Charlie out of Carlton in an attempt to entice him home they are going the wrong way about it.

Steve Hocking had a fall out at Geelong.
Steve Hocking has fallen out with his brother, now the AFL public at large. It's all about Steve.

It's all about Patrick. Say no more. What an ego. Knows he will be tagged by Ed.

It's all about fence sitting Carlton hater Gerard. Get over 1995 FFS. We were the better team by 100 points. All the Carlton issues are his business: priority pick, Murphy hit by Hodge, Hoult hit on Lamb ...it just doesn't Stop.

I've officially banned 360 along with the HUN. Biased reporting against Carlton. Why would I want to indulge!

Which AFL official is getting the Junket to head across to China? I hope May gets BOG and wins whatever bogus medal they strike for the marketing stunt. It would be awesome to see May shaking hands and getting a medal put around his neck by one of the AFLs top execs in the same week he got off with a fine and no appeal for touching an ump !! My prediction is that May has had his press schedule rejigged on the fly and somebody else will be doing the GCS pre match interviews now!

So back to the game, assuming Murph is an automatic in, who else comes in?

Personally I wouldn’t be averse to giving Kerr a run, with Harry and Charlie doing stints in the middle when needed (as backup ruck and mid depth respectively). But who else would go out?

My guess is Murph and Silvagni in, Ed and Graham out.

mullett out - shaw in
purely based on the fact that shaw didn't play last week and we love playing underdone players

Weitering was horribly out of form for 6 weeks.
He has had 2 good games in the ressies. Hardly a travesty

Spot on Bondi.

One thing I would add is that IMO Carlton have handled themselves very well. No outrage or cheap shots - just a simple a expression of disappointment in the sequence of events. Well done Blues - I see this sort of thing as a sign of a maturing club going in the right direction.

The AFL and various Geelong sympathisers have once again come out of this looking foolish. How they could justify appealing Charlies' and not May's is beyond me. How could the media not scrutinise this?

Anyway, hopefully we make it two in a row Sunday and can move on.

I was thinking the same thing.
When they come calling he can tell them he refuses to play with such a snake.

Its a bit of a catch 22 situation.

If you are constantly at the bottom of the ladder .. players are more likely to move to a more successful club.
BUT ... if your good players keep moving ... you never get off the bottom.

We have to start making progress up the ladder very soon ... like next near.

He wasn't behind the AFL 's appeal was he?

I agree. Definitely thought it would be Garlett for Murphy

Go Blues

I don't mind Weitering and Silvagni staying out. A few more games to build resilience and character.
