Can't see the AFL undermining the Tribunal.

Just because a Geelong supporter, Gerard the Dork says that his Geelong mate Hocking at the AFL should appeal it doesn't mean jack shit, and would only exposes the Geelong bias and whinging with the Hawkins verdict....who actually PLEADED GUILTY!

Media frothing for AFL to appeal:

The AFL advises it has lodged an appeal against last night's two Tribunal decisions for Carlton's Ed Curnow and Carlton's Charlie Curnow. The appeals will be heard 3pm tomorrow afternoon, Thursday May 17.

PROBABLE INS: PROBABLE OUTS:

Murphy Graham (last in, despite being reasonable last week)
Marchbank O'Shea ( like for like and Marchy offers miles more)

POSSIBLE INS: POSSIBLE OUTS:

Weitering Jesus??? Jones??? (Who do we value more?)
Kennedy Garlett

Don't want to get too tall. It has to be like for like with Weiters (who should be playing ahead of Jones and Rowe IMO)
IF Kennedy comes in for out of form Garlett we lose pace, so I can't see that happening, and I think the normal swap would be Kerridge but his form, stamina and strength is needed against Dees if we are more serious about a win than development games into the kids.

A win last week suggests a better team balance and not much change required. Murphy is a must.

Trial by media

Must admit I am scratching my head over a lot of things umpires, tribunal and AFL do.

It use to be our game, a game I totally understood, even the Tribunal. No one knows.

The AFL have [REDACTED] up a lot of things. Population growth and technology have grown the game, not that School Boys Club running the AFL, and paying themselves a king's ransom.

I assume they are not appealing the May decision because the deadline for that one was yesterday midday, while the media outrage did not erupt until last night.

Essendon* would challenge in the courts. Carlton simply bend over. Typical. The club just remains silent. Piss weak by Carlton as well.
