And the procession continues. Last week we were a rabble, this week we're a brave, upcoming group with quality young kids.
Once again the media (and some supporters) live week to week without looking at the bigger picture. We aren't playing a lot different to last week. Our list isn't any better or worse than it was last week. We got a couple of quality players back, Kruezers injury seems to be freeing up, Essendon** don't have a decent player to minimise Crippers dominance and we kicked straighter than the opposition.
Things haven't been as bad as they seem, nor are they as good as it seems. As Bolts says, dont get too high, dont get too low.

Enjoy the win, look forward to getting more players back and the incremental improvement that will come with it. But the journey continues. The wrist slitters will have a week off from canning the rebuild, the non-bed wetters will say I told you so and we'll continue on our journey towards a premiership. The joys of supporting a footy club. :screwy:

Yeah, we certainly wouldn't want to get too high on the result of that win. After all we only beat Essendon*, heh, heh.

Ed Curnow referred directly Tribunal, intentional contact umpire NWilliamson.
Jed Lamb can accept $1500, misconduct against MBaguley.
Charlie Curnow referred directly Tribunal, intentional contact umpire MStevic.

So was one of them the blond turd who killed us?

Intentional, pigs arse, more like Charlie was protecting the umpire from a flying fist or player falling back from the scuffle.

I could not believe it when I saw the incident that he had been reported for. Surely they jest?
I doubt Charlie even knew he had made any contact or that the umpire was even there.
The media got what they wanted, Carlton blood.

Apparently He said to Lamb “BJ was a Carlton supporter when he was younger”

Obviously touching an umpire is wrong, however if they don't determine that a report is necessary why would anyone else?

There's something special about going over for the game and getting a win. One of the highlights of the year for me going over with Blue Beatle back in the day.

Charlie should be ok he was in no way talking to and approaching the umpire. He'll just get a fine. Ed I'm not so sure about though.

All the media shows last night were at pains to point out that May was obvously non-intentional as opposed to Curnow. Except Jono Brown, who said the fix was in for the China game

Pretty insensitive and some really low ball comments.
