Clearly they’re after more mobility this week. Makes sense against this mob, especially if it’s wet.

Hope Charlie and Darcy are over their issues, and Lamb goes straight to Goddard.

Not good enough

Would of thought Kennedy would be ideal in the wet.

Surely has to be injured.

Probably a bit like Weitering let him get his mojo back in the vfl.

I like the fact we aren’t shoehorning talls in this week.

SPS somehow survives again. Would have dropped him long before Kennedy.

For the bad guys

In: Fantasia, McKernan
Out: McGrath, Daniher

Some big outs for them, but Fantasia is just the type to cut us up, and McKernan is perfect Moran material.

If McKernan wins the Moran then our MC should be sakced for leaving Weitering in the 2's.

Surely Lamb's last chance to do something.

Annoy the shit out of Brendan Goddard, and his work is done.

He will tag Goddard and kick 2, including one in the last from a 50 as Goddard has a sook

So was Weitering really injured or it was put out there just to avoid the scrutiny on his omission and then he's in VFL for a couple after that when everyone's forgotten about it.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was injured. He doesn't seem to cope with it well. Bolts alluded to it last year.
By all accounts he was moving very well last week. I think it's a good decision to give him another week in the vfl and ask him to back up that performance again.

I would agree, we just don’t have the class to leave talent out!

But it's probably beneficial in the long run which is more important. The kid appears to be of good character. He didn't spit the dummy but went back to the 2's and did what was asked of him. Asking him to do it again and challenge him to find some consistency away from the spot light is a good move. After all he stunk the place out for a few weeks so making him really earn it can only be positive. IMO He will cope well with it.

Weitering is probably his own harshest critic - possibly too harsh by the looks of it. He needs to regain confidence in his football and get his mojo back. His confidence looked totally shot to me, so I wouldn't be surprised if it takes a few more weeks.
