There needs to be accountability for this.
The current administration including Bolton and SOS have taken this club and sent them so far behind the rest of the comp we will struggle to ever catch up.
This rebuild or reset or whatever you want to call it is a total fukcup.

SOS has done ok. We're picking well after the first round for the first time ever. Team selection is a disgrace, no conception of the modern game whatsoever. We play like we have no clue how the modern game is played. One of the most important aspects of the modern game is run out of the half back line. Most of our defenders are 6 foot 900 inches. We have no run, no spread. When you move the ball quickly you'd be surprised how skills improve.

We have Casboult, McKay and Curnow, why do we need to pick SOS.

Who do you suggest should be selected in the team instead to implement the modern game?

Bolts must be running out of jargon, maybe tonight he has to say it how it is for the first time

We could've won that game if we had any idea whatsoever and didn't fk up every 2nd time we had the ball.

I look forward to the day where poor performance can’t be attributed to “he’s been injured”

How could you not see it coming.
Malthouse started taking us backwards and Bolton has continued down that path

Not 5 big blokes in defence. Where does your run start.

Byrne? Really? If you think Byrne, Pickett, Weitering and Lang is going to save us, I have some news

Cool your jets. Each of those players has shown more than multiple players who played tonight. Byrne played some legitimately good football before he did his knee, enough to get noticed and mentioned by Garry Lyon amongst other commentators. He has it in him.

Holman, Gowers and Lambert wouldve served us well tonight

Cunningham and Polson will be next to be delisted, then shine at a new club

Don’t think so

There were probably 100+ opportunities to perform fundamental tasks that we chose not to take.

Shepherds, taps, tackles - Every one of those missed opportunities effectively gives the opposition a free kick - they don't give them to us, why do we gift them to the Dogs?

A forward line of Casboult, McKay, Wright and SOS is not going to lock in the ball enough - see Richmond

A backline of Rowe, Plowman, Marchbank and Jones is too tall and not quick enough - disposal is also average.

A midfield that relies so much on Cripps and a 19yr old.

Can't expect to win many games with that type of structure, injuries haven't helped.

Lost at selection. Way too tall. Way too slow.
Every other team is going fast and small we had no speed at Etihad. WTF
I understand how many better players we were missing but our team balance was Rubbish.

Don’t think so.
Last two years were a steady improve. Anyone with any footy knowledge could see that.
We’ve got young talent at the club for once. Bolts isn’t getting the best out of yh though
This year we’ve gone backwards.
The spirit we had the last few years is missing.
Kids that were playing well last years are looking terrible this year.
Everything that could go wrong has.

But who could we bring in to alter the balance?

Cuningham is kind of quick but...? Pickett was dropped, can’t get near it. Polson is middle paced. And then? Who?

Positives - We are a young team...green shoots.
Negatives - Opposition were younger......again!

I think you just agreed with Syd.

We de-listed players like Gowers and Holman and Buckley and replaced them with Oshea. How is that good coaching/team management?

But 'oh, we've turned over the entire list' yeah, but why? It was a massive gamble that looks to have failed big time.

Take Gibbs, Doc, Murphy, Kreuzer out of any team and replace with largely younger players, then that's the drop off. To be square of the ledger, you need to replace like for like, and reality is you won't get that immediately. A bit of reality and perspective.

Turnovers killed us the last two weeks, though.

Gowers was delisted two years ago, Holman three. They are irrelevancies. Strawman arguments.
