The latter, after returning home from a gig.

We were not competitive against the Tigers. That should have been a 12+ flogging.

We were gifted 5 goals to so it could have been a 15 goal loss

And what of the 6 goals they got from free kicks/50 metre penalties?
They don't count do they?

WTF is it with our mentality that senior players will play this dumb-ass game where we give away a free kick, then go and stand over the ball so the opposition player can't get easy access to pick it up?

It's usually not even the player taking the kick - he's already gone back on his mark waiting & for the ball.

Simmo did it last night as did one of the young kids.

Here's an idea - run down the @#$%&! ground and pick up your man  .

Do you actually not understand why they do it or are you just looking for something else to whinge about?
Post it in the AFL thread because every other team does it.

I watched WAFL and A grade Ammos on the weekend and they do it there as well. It's certainly a well used tactic.

Hell, I used to do it while kicking the dew off the grass in the GVFL Reserves.

Pure revisionism seen through the prism of our current ineptitude.

We were well up for the Tigers clash before running out of steam late. Against Collingwood we jumped out of the gates and then folded like a cheap suit once they figured us out. Against GC and NM we never even showed up.

Hey Cimm - who's your Ammos team? I go pretty much every week as well - NBFC for mine!

Silvagni's positioning when he takes possession is consistently poor. Always has his back to what's going on around him - whether that's the oncoming tackler, or his teammates providing support. Too slow to evade the oncoming tackler, too slight to try and get the ball off whilst being tackled.

Makes him look slower than what he is.

Wanted Daw as a player and publicity magnet. Got laughed off the page.
Wanted Hartung as a genuine fast linebreaker in last year's trade/delisted FA period. Got laughed off the page.
Daw has been very flukey but last week he beat Casbould at FB and then beat both Kreuzer and Casboult as relieving ruck. Meanwhile Hartung showed us what someone with genuine pace and a tank can do to a game.

Meanwhile, O'Shea and Mullet are going well.

I think you're being a bit unfair.
There were lots of other posts that you were laughed off the page for. Those ones weren't too bad.

Pros:
Tackling was better.
Really liked Cuningham’s game.
Kennedy and Garlett showed enough. Good to see Garlett lay a few tackles.
Simmo, Cripps, Charlie and Ed tried hard. Although not sure why Ed’s not being used to shut down playmakers.
Thomas was good.
Plowman’s 2nd half.
LOB looked comfortable.

Cons:
Fumbling.
Too much being left to too few. Simply don’t have enough strong senior contributors at the moment. Injuries and depth are a problem. Feel sorry for Simmo, Cripps and Ed.
Just can’t seem to stop the opposition from scoring. Not getting enough numbers or support back. And even when did have an extra number, they somehow contrived to spoil each other and spill the ball to the opposition.
Our defensive group’s current aversion to body contact.
Jones and Mullett were pretty bad. And Weitering was simply horrible. Doesn’t want to compete.
Dumb footy when going forward with the wind. Spot up a target near 50, instead of kicking to the masses, 25 metres out from goal.
For a skilful player, SOJ’s kicking was horrible.
For an unskilled player, O’Shea’s kicking was horrible. I know we’re short on senior bodies. But can’t see him playing many games with that kind of output.
If we’re going to play Graham, can we please play him in midfield? He’s just not capable of playing small forward at AFL level.
The ridiculous inconsistency with holding the ball decision.

One of the newbies, Wanneroo.

Got toweled up by Scarborough on Saturday but the plan is just stay in A grade for more than 1 season, not like last time.

We've got you blokes in round 7 at Chas.

Big game this weekend for you guys, GF preview?

Sam Petrevski-Seton has been charged with engaging in misconduct against North Melbourne’s Jed Anderson.

He can accept a $1500 sanction with an early plea.

What did he do?

Hopefully a good sign that someone showed a bit of 'hurt'
