We used to inspire fear and loathing.
Now the only time people fear and loathe us is when our games are scheduled for FTA broadcast.

Keep this up and we'll have 30,000 members next year.

This is the scary part to me. We look like we’ve given up already. That’s dangerous for the development of our young guys. We risk wasting a development year if we can’t get some spirit back into the group

No need to get to low or high (even though won’t come for another 5 years), just enjoy the green shoots.............

We have more top picks than you can poke a stick at. We expect passion, endeavour, commitment and at least looking like we care. When you get that then skills and set up will come. You'll be surprised how much more skilful you look when you properly commit yourself to the task.

Me too... Function....
WTF happened.
Looked at the AFL app...

Tells me nothing... But the 'efficiency inside 50' stats are obviously a joke....

After getting replaced in the side pre game, does it mean Murphy wasn't allowed to sit on the bench or join the team in the quarter and three-quarter time huddles?

I wonder if he spoke to the troops at half time in the rooms?

To be concise. No don't waste your time watching it unless you are a masochist. Erase the recording and burn whatever device you recorded it on so even if you are tempted by some sick urge to watch it, you won't.

Oh well. There's a bushfire raging one suburb away. It could be worse. Yay.

Burn the joint down and re-build from its base. Remove all signs of our history.

Re-brand the club with spirit FFS!

WTF has happened? Seriously?

We all know the mitigants but where is the spirit? The competitiveness? The intent?

Going backwards at a rate of knots that can't just be attributed to the loss of personnel imho.

I'm still trying to work out why Brett Ratten got the sack and Andrew McKay hasn't

well they have lost me - after 65 years;
have just arrived home from being at the game and have never been so angry at such an insipid, pathetic, gutless, error-riden, skill-less exhibition; we are officially a laughing stock;
my carlton cap just got carved up with a Stanley knife (like that piss-weak thing they call the carlton team) and on Monday it will be in the post with my membership card in little bits.............

A lot of our players are playing flat footed.

Kicks and handballs (particularly handbals) are being directed at places where players ought to be but for some reason they aren't running onto the kicks/handballs.

Watch the replay if you can stand it. You will notice that a lot the time the turnovers occur when the player who ought to be receiving the handball doesn't run where the disposer thinks the player will run and hence the turnover occurs either because the receiver is tackled or disposes so hurriedly it results in a turnover.

I think the players are caught in no man's land which comes down to confidence. That needs to be instilled by the coaching staff.

I lasted until 2mins left I the 2nd quarter.

Embarrassing is the only word that comes to mind.

Garlett played with a bit of zip. Mullett wasn't bad early. Thomas took that nice grab against 2 opponents.

Apart from that, no words.

We have to re-jig the defence for next week, just got slaughtered, & didn't help that the opposition kicked 18 effing 8.

Did Plowman end up getting injured?

What a joke.
Promised so much but hsvf delivered nothing.
Being a young side doesn’t mean you can play with no balls and no heart.
Sick of our Club being a laughing stiock.
