Without looking at the stats & just going on gut feel, we seem to have a habit of getting pantsed in Q2. Is it just me or does it so often feel like yet another game with a goal or two in it at quarter time....then lose the second by plenty. Possibly a respectable second half, or, the thrashing continues. Either way, game over.

To me this goes right back to the Pagan days. What's wrong? Why is it this footy club can keep up for half an hour then just lose it after the first break?

No clue, although I'm pretty sure it's not restricted to 2nd quarters (but it does seem a common time for it).

There comes a time every week when that "and here we...GO" [/JOKER] moment hits, and it's suddenly as though our players have disappeared.

Is it mental? Is it gameplan? Is it slackness or getting ahead of themselves?

It's @#$%&! maddening that this happens nearly weekly and we still don't know why.

perhaps its not the 2nd quarter its the absence of the premiership quarter.

As a club we felt we owned that and no matter what happened we'd come out and rip 'em a new one and that was that.

Now we come out....

go back in....

come out again...

walk off...

I can't help but think of WPA's Step in Step out.

We just pray for two halves
at the same intensity
and a plan that isn't quite so helter skelter.
