Can’t afford to have Garlett, Samo, Poulson, Dow, Fisher, lamb in same side.. either because of youth or size, they too easily get pushed around or have no body impact on the play... skill fine but too many light bodies on the field and only Garlett and Fisher have speed on their side...

Bolts need to get some balance back in

Dare I say it but Kerridge needs to come back in for poulson, SOS in for Lamb...

I wouldn't complain about that. Hopefully both play well this weekend for NB.

I agree.
Maybe could bring in Macreadie if Marchbank doesn't come up or perhaps give O'Brien a run if VFL form warrants selection.

The moment somebody in the game thread said they had more respect for Essendon* than Carlton and hardly anybody had a problem with it.

Polson clearly not up to it.
Lamb offers very little.

I liked Cunningham's game.

Polson looked alot like Cunningham in his early days
Polson needs game time game time game time
Cunningham is now starting to feel as though he belongs

We badly need a captain that other teams fear.

We went for Kernahan as a kid. Charlie Curnow is playing like a captain should. Better ideas welcomed.

In Patches yes, he has composure but he needs to step up and become a 20+ midfielder instead of the average 14 a game!!

I started to type a witty comeback, then I realised it made no sense and deleted it, then a Carlton player did something stupid and I forgot to go back to it.

Needless to say, it was a barry crocker of a post.

His best game so far. His first year in the backline. How many games has he played?
Ease up.

He's playing in the backline, he was about the only positive on the night.

Not many I know... he will be a good player in 2-3 years....

I am just so frustrated and angry with guys like Kennedy and Seton... We brought them to the club to have an immediate impact but they are both proving to be average hacks who do not have what it takes to produce solid performances week in, week out!!

SPS was drafted as an 18yo and is only in his 2nd year.

Pros......I'm learning to not watch full games.

Happy to admit I've gone home at 3/4 time the last two games. Dispiirited performances.

Not sure if I'm in the doom and gloom camp just yet but honesty, have no answers for our last 8 quarters of football

I know that players need to be given 20-50 games before you put a line through them. This is why I want Cunningham and Polson to play the season.
Mullet, O'Shea, Lamb have had their 50 games+ at AFL level
And FFS, make a call on Harry (and an even bolder call on Kerr). It can't hurt!!!!!!!

Cunninghams had a decent first three game:
Average 10 disposals (4 contested)
Average 73% efficiency
Average 5 tackles

Doc captain
Cripps VC

It’s the obvious and logical choice

Pros

- A few late wins to Weiters, hopefully helps his confidence
- Another massive effort from Cripps
- Garlett when he starts getting more of the ball will be very good

Cons

- Marchbank's injury. I know we would've lost regardless but any danger we can get through a game without losing a player early? :banghead:
- General lack of structure. The Haw/Geel Easter match is our annual early reminder of how far off we are
- So many passengers.

Then why was he one of Bolton's whipping boys, rotting in the ressies when others at AFL level were being gifted games
