I don't know why anyone is surprised given the loss of Docherty and Gibbs, no Kennedy, no Kreuzer and against a pretty good midfield.

Look at Carlton's midfield - would have to be the worst in the competition.

no, don't give them an out for this shit

What genius on the selection committee decided that we don't need to bring in a ruckman to replace Kreuzer? Whoever it was should be sacked! And as usual our habit of not manning up has come back to haunt us. Not to mention some absolutely pathetic umpiring.

Fumbly. Nervous disposal under any sort of pressure. Haven't come prepared at all for Gold Coast's pressure. They look like they have extra men on every line at the moment.

Lol, if they weren't going to pay them to the high hold on Lamb and the high bump on Murphy, not sure what they are going to pay.
There are no consequences for screwing over Carlton; we are meek little Lambs that never object.

Byrne not good enough at this level, IMO.

Never believed that, or admit when I had doubts but he doesn't have the footy brain for finals footy let alone H & A games on our turf.

Team defence does not mean giving your opponent 10 metres when they have the ball

Sitting from my couch I counted 13 simple dumb mistakes by players.
Murphy with 2, Bryne 2, Plowman 2 and Simpson 2.

Only plus besides Charlie were a couple of hard and tough efforts from Dow. 1 which created a scoring chance and a 2nd which locked the ball in a attacking position for us.

Bryne's weak effort of a tackle first up and that push cost us 2 goals.

Weitering offers nothing up front.

Just watching from the ground. He doesnt move into space, he doesnt lead into the footy.

It's a waste of his talent.

Casboult looks about a metre shorter than their ruck. We got this wrong at the selection table imo

Weitering not presenting.
Had opportunity to lead and receive and chooses to ball watch

30 tackles to 20, 13 stoppage clearances to 6. They're mobbing us and we haven't had an answer yet.

Skills are appalling and no forwards apart from Charlie who can't do it on his own
