Cripps Charlie Fisher Marchbank Simpson Wright All good. Jones not at his best. Need better from Silvagni and Casboult. Weitering is not defending one on one very well or taking intercept marks. Shame Kennedy got injured. Hopefully Kreuzer didn't do more damage staying out there. |

We were dead exhausted that last qtr but we did keep hanging in. Bigger, stronger bodies ran then game out better. Weitering will never play a game that bad again............ever! SOJ struggled big time, Levi couldn't get near it in the first half but waaay better in the 2nd half when he was rucking and away from Rance. |

Obviously disappointed that these wankstains still have our number, but we sent a clear message to those nuff-nuff "experts" that have us pegged for the spoon. |

So , so impressed by most of our youngsters. Very disappointed with many so called senior players. First game of the season you would think you would be keen to play. |

Don't really want to bag him but Murphy, as a leader, just not up to it. Hope that effort is not the norm for the season. |

Lots of great signs. Injuries catch up with you, especially against good teams. Ran out of legs. |

Weitering is on the hit list - he’s soft and lacks effort when the going is tough |

Charlie Crippa Ed Marchbank were great. Special mention to Mullett for a good blue debut. Really like the free flowing game style - well done coaches. |

Richmond didn’t give a flying flower if Simpson had a possession- he cost us two goals in the first quarter |

Not many negatives, lots of positives. We will get scores kicked against us as we learn to attack and use our defensive zones. Worked for 3 quarters until we ran out of legs. |

Pros: We will win a lot of respect this season and some games as well. We stuck to the system even though at the end the score blew out. Cons: Tackling is very poor. Still several players with ? over their heads IMO. Jack, Lamb, Mullet, Byrne all under-performed. We are not hard enough at the contested ball and got beaten a lot when the ball was pinballing around. Too many simple turnovers that led to 12 point goals. Not enough F50 entries. We could have been flogged except for our accuracy. Kennedy and Kreuzer may be out next week so the under-performers will probably keep their spots. Great game for the AFL. It will be interesting to see BB take on it. I think Richmond will be happy to get away with that after the start we had. |
