Interesting, fair selections. Bit surprised by O’Shea.

WOW, not the Raddy vaiety...just WOW

Bring in experience and speed.

Oshea as a HB and Cunners on the ball.

Who does Oshea release from backline?

Simmo was lose man last week
Maybe Mullet released as the defensive wing

Absolutely

Great story

Didn't get delisted by Port because he didnt contribute.

We have given him a different role.

Good luck to the man.
He looked good in the JLT

! I too am interested and surprised....

Good luck to CO'S ... had a cracker game in the JLT, must have had a good VFL game too.

(Wasn't even mentioned in the coach's review? He did play?)

Lot more rotations through the midfield too I suspect ... BUT we have to be careful about HOW inexperienced we set up at any bounce..
(look at the set ups after the 5th and 6th goals last week)

Silvagni shouldn't have to worry about being a defensive forward this week. Their main rebounders I think are Harbrow and Kolodjashni so I suppose Lamb will go to one of them. None of their talls offer a real lot of rebound. We'll get a better idea of how he's travelling.

yep looks like Sos can relax....

Good to see Cuningham in, he'll add a lot to the team with his speed and skill.

All the best to Cam O'Shea too in his first game for Carlton

Whilst Jack wasn't great, it shits me that it looks like we've reacted to flower in the media saying he's only getting a game because of his father. I suppose they were on a hiding to nothing. Keep him in and they continue talking their shit about why he's getting a game (if he played poorly again). Drop him and they're only doing it to prove a point. You'd like to think that there hasn't been any influence from the scum

I don't think the club's done that. His stats haven't looked good for some time. He had a really good crack last year. We've now got a bunch of blokes hunting for that spot - Jack now has to earn it back.

He's a good kid and I'm sure he would agree with this decision.

One thing I'm certain of is that the club didn't react to Slobbo.

Hmmm....O’Shea. I can’t say I thought our side was crying out for another medium/tall defender. And I saw him butcher it one too many times in the VFL last year to get excited about him.

Having said that, he did look OK in the 1 JLT game he played. Anyway, good luck to him!

Kreuzer has to be doubtful. I notice Harry is an emergency.....

I very much doubt the club is anyway influenced at selection by media/supporter white noise. SOJ wasn’t a dead cert to be selected for round 1. He was, he didn’t have a great game, he’s been dropped for round 2. End of story. I’m sure he’ll fight hard to get back in the side and be selected on merit again in the near future.

O’Shea is an interesting selection. How many defenders do we need? Simmo move to a more attacking role? Weitering or Jones forward?
