The groin injuries tend to linger and footy clubs tend to put players on the park and they never quite recover for the year.
If it is indeed minor, then let him rest it for 2-3 weeks and get him back genuinely fit, not just fighting his way through but managing the injury for the rest of the year.

I'd say we'll have a smaller, faster forward line this week with just the two talls and more forward pressure.

With Casboult as no.1 ruck, god help us, we will only have Charlie and Mac as key forwards. GC defenders will have a picnic unless we throw a Weitering up there as well. Thomas is a liability no matter where we play him. We will need an Easter miracle ......

We’re stuffed. No advantage from last week’s wet game in Cairns. No Kreuzer. No Ablett.

It didn’t seem to effect NM today. And GC have an extra day to recover. I don’t think it will be a factor this early in the season.
