With a new season upon us, I thought I'd start a thread where we can 'confess our ugly football behaviour' whether mid-game or after a lose. Or confess when 'you lost it' in the past barracking for our navy blues.

I have to confess, as a young child, being racist to Indigenous Aboriginal umpire, Glenn James, in the game where Essendon* kicked four goals in the dieing moments to beat us at Princes Park. I apologise.

Serious Sunday topic 79?

I must admit when I first moved to Melbourne and when watching Carlton I would call opposition players 'wombanas' and
'spazz'.

I apologise.

Too many to mention, nothing violent or anything but I'm probably better off remaining silent on specifics

That would been funny, especially given it was Ian Robinson - not Glenn James.

A game somewhere in the lost years where we were getting our pants pulled down and I saw a bloke leaving early in the third quarter with his son, probably about ten or so. I gave him the biggest spray about what a disgrace he was and how he should be ashamed of teaching his young bloke bad lessons in supporteing through thick and thin.

In hindsight not my greatest moment.

Whitnall's 150th, Hawks coming a us, I started ranting at two Carlton supporters that if they didn't cheer and we lost that I'd "go them"

Forgive me Carlton
For I have sinned.
It's been a fair few seasons now where Ive only bought 3 game passes from you. My faith had lapsed. I'm on the road to recovering it though.

Bagging the crap out of Robert Walls one day at the MCG (he was having a shocker).
The lady sitting in front of me turned around and said "do you mind, that is my husband."
Sorry Mrs Walls.

I was so upset at half time in the 1970 GF, I turned off the radio and didn't find out the score until the news broadcast it.

More than 3 Hail Marys penance for that one.

I called Ashley McIntosh a flowering spastic at Subiaco oval one day and only realised after my mate dragged me away that we were standing right behind the supporters in wheel chairs.

I apologise.
