I don't understand the Plowman bashing.
I'm just glad the club respect and love Plowie.

Prior to the game on Saturday, Marchbank was practising his goal kicking.

He's going to be a star, and that's not to suggest for a minute that Plowman isnt a bonafide Best 22 player.

Plowman got caught out against McEvoy at one stage. More to do with team defense than tactics. Plowman was dwarfed by the man mountain. That's not a shortfall of Plowman's (pardon the pun).

Plowman will be a piller of our defence for the next decade.

Ends.

Just from what I saw last night and last year....

Kreuzer is, and always has been, a gun and critical to our success
A side can be built around Cripps
A side is being built around Cripps with Kennedy, SPS, Dow, Obrien, Curnow
The new recruits are the cherry on top but there's still some baking to do yet
McKay has a bit to go, but needs a crack at it at senior level without Levi @#$%&! him up
Plowman isn't long-term, IMO
Levi has some positives, but negatives mean he'll never be A grade
Marchbank is awesome
SOJ has a bit to go before I'd classify him as firmly in our best 22. He's a great kick when he gets it, but doesn't damage the opposition
Fisher is a gun
Weitering is improving heaps

I think we've now got the young talent to give us a dynasty between 2020 and 2030

I really don't see he has more negatives than the vast majority of the list. Every player makes errors but people seem to focus on some more than others. But maybe I've got rose coloured glasses when it comes to Bolt.

While SOJ doesn't dominate I'd say the opposite re how damaging his disposals are.

Overall I couldn't be much happier with our overall progression.

Can't wait to have Willo back!!!

Give a man a Plow........

Plough is great on anyone remotely his size down back. Been great for us IMHO.

Williamson and McReadie are in our medium term best 22. Building a great list, and no doubt Teaguey is a great acquisition for us.....plenty more 100 point games ahead

A very, very important player for us, make no mistake about that.

There's no 'bashing' I just gave my 'pros and cons' and commented on Plowman's position in the side. He's got his spot now which is great, but I see Williamson and Maccreadie as the future holders of their respective positions along with Weiters, Marchbank, Doc and Oshea.

I'm also rally looking forward to seeing Kerr in the forward line. From what I've seen of him in the NB he is very talented.

I think Byrne will get a gig back there if he can stay fit. He showed pretty good poise against Hawks.

Don't know about gay, but they looked like they were second hand and not washed properly.

Awful
