That Fisher to Pickett goal is as good as you'll see.

Fisher's the most exciting midfield prospect we've had for a long time.

You sound like Andrew Demetriou.

Aussie rules is not disgusting because they dont play it the way you want.

Swans won a GF playing such footy.

Its just footy. Plenty of differing styles.

Wright, Lamb, Thomas, fmd. How do you play any of those guys ahead of a Polson.

Wright has kicked and kicks more goals than Polson...in fact more than anyone.

Wright did have 3 bad fumbles in a row, but that's not the norm from him...as for the other 2 you mention, I can't wait to see Polson overtake them if he's better.

12 players 21 or younger compared to 5.
It's all about the future.

Just on the back of 2 JLT games i can already see the impact that Teague is having.

He's gonna be the recruit of the year for mine.

Just from what I saw last night and last year....

Kreuzer is, and always has been, a gun and critical to our success
A side can be built around Cripps
A side is being built around Cripps with Kennedy, SPS, Dow, Obrien, Curnow
The new recruits are the cherry on top but there's still some baking to do yet
McKay has a bit to go, but needs a crack at it at senior level without Levi @#$%&! him up
Plowman isn't long-term, IMO
Levi has some positives, but negatives mean he'll never be A grade
Marchbank is awesome
SOJ has a bit to go before I'd classify him as firmly in our best 22. He's a great kick when he gets it, but doesn't damage the opposition
Fisher is a gun
Weitering is improving heaps

I think we've now got the young talent to give us a dynasty between 2020 and 2030

Did we all like and/or approve of the Carlton uniform worn last night?

Or doesn't it really matter?

The fact that he’s been included in the leadership group might indicate the club thinks otherwise.

Maybe, but as a footballer, I don't think he has what it takes. I could be wrong.

I'd be very suprised if Plowman is not part of our long term plans.

I'm undecided on him.

Someone has to eventually make way for Macreadie down back though. I'm sold on him.

If we’re going to be a good team we’ll have eight or nine quality defenders on the list. Not all are going to be available at all times and some will match up better on certain players at certain times than others.

Plenty of room for Lachie Plowman until he’s the tenth or eleventh best defender at the club.

He’s top five at the moment.

When you have to play Marchbank on the wing, because you’ve got nowhere else to play Plowman

Do you really think that Marchbank played higher because plowman can't play anywhere else? I'd suggest if that was the case then March would stay back and plowman would be elsewhere particularly when ther is an 8 man bench, also SPS was on the bench at that stage...I'd say it was more about finding out how he'd go playing up on the wing. Was more comfortable when he went back in second half! Plowman will be around for a while yet, although last night he was awful!

100 points.

Cripps is the barometer. He gets the ball and makes things happen.
SPS has real speed to add to his class.
Kennedy another bull who gets it out under pressure.
Kreuzer was looking in best ever form before being rested.
Murphy showed plenty of class. Master of the bawk.

Dow has a great midfield to work with. Add his speed and clearances.

That is a good engine room.

Add old heads through there in Ed, Daisy and I feel we learned a lot about frenzied style footy.
I feel like we got the rusty bits off in the JLT. Belief high. Sets us up beautifully for Tiggers.
