We beat them the last time we played them and we have, arguably, a stronger side in this weekend.

It's been 587 days since they beat us! We are on a roll.
(They did have 4110 days without a loss against us though...)

Despite being so far away, I get a clear impression that there is a plan. The different elements of the club are coming together with strong coaching and support appointments. Combine that with some excellent recruiting, it all augers well for an improved showing this year. A young group but I believe they are being nurtured and encouraged in a positive and demanding learning environment. Bolton has been such a great appointment.

I see Grace Phillips isn't doing the media this week. I'd be interested to see if she's moved on.
Hopefully a close relationship with one of our young players isn't a contributing factor?
It would be a shame. She's an excellent media performer.

Is she Andrew Phillips' mum?

She’s not the daughter of Queensland politician Grace Grace and former American Idol winner Phillip Phillips by any chance?

I believe she's actually the daughter of former sports reporter Stephen Phillips who sadly died a couple of years ago from a brain tumour.
Grace is a talented media performer so hopefully she has a big future. Whether it be at CFC or wherever else.

BV I thought she was doing a scholarship through the club and Latrobe Uni.

Quite possibly.
Whatever the case, she's a natural in front of the cameras. Hopefully the club can use her services in the future.
Between her and Emily Angwin, the club has a couple of very good ambassadors in the media.

Getting back to the game, it will be very interesting to see how we fare tonight. Will Clarko be stinging from the loss to us last year and the treatment Sicily received? I'm looking forward to see how our midfield performs against theirs. Hopefully Kennedy has a strong performance and isn't suffering any effects from his head knock last week.
I'm also looking looking forward to seeing how SPS goes after his first full pre-season.

I've notice that Jack Silvagni has put a couple of videos up of her recently on insta and got the impression they may be an item. If that is the case then she is possibly no longer doing our media.
Which is a shame as she is so much better than Angwin..

Any TC locals going to the game? I see the Northern Blues have started well.
