Pretty small club this week I reckon. Odds of $5.25 are tasty. Eagles play shit in Melbourne and worse on the big ground. We have a young talented list with some old c graders to help out. We have a skipper who wants to lead. And we aren't playing two injured blokes in the middle of the ground.

I've got a feeling.

If the Eagles are flying South East airlines we just might have a chance.

Eagles play shit in Melbourne and we're just shit!! Putting old blokes in to limit the damage not going for a win.

5 years ago Mrs NTB and I planned a visit to Perth to visit our son at a time that coincided with a Carlton v West Coast game. We were not too confident as the Blues had not won a game after 4 rounds. We entered a draw that the club held for interstate members travelling to the game and won a prize of two tickets to go to change rooms before and after game. I remember being embarrassed when my phone rang during the change room warm up. The ring tone was "When the Saints Go Marching In". Fellow supporters were glaring at me as if I was an opposition spy. I had to loudly declare that my team in Darwin is Saint Marys - thus the ringtone. Thankfully they didn't burn me at the stake!

Two things made the trip memorable - firstly walking up the stand next to Megan Gale, who ended up sitting just behind our row. Secondly the teams performance as Chris Yarran kicked a few running goals in the 3rd quarter, Sam Roe kicked a couple of goals in the second quarter after marking strongly near goal, and we won the game. It was great to be sitting amongst Blues supporters in the small area allocated to club members.

It was a memorable win that broke the drought for me. I had thought I was a jinx as my previous 6 interstate trips to see a game all led to losses.

Would be great to see us repeat that winning performance on Saturday evening.

Go Blues!

One of the best "I've got a feeling" was Surrey before that st Kilda game where pagan played fev on Gehrig & we lost by about 15 goals

I reckon you're onto something though Heavs. The Eagles would be a bit nervous about this. They are terrible at the G, & would hate to drop a game to the bottom side. Get in their heads early & we're a chance.

Might take us at the line

We should dust off Josh Kennedy's old number 5 jumper and present it to him before the game.

Don’t worry Sam Rowe will provide a personal escort service for everyone of the ten goals that Kennedy will score.
