Now I think we made the right long-term decision to trade Gibbs, but losing 2 top-5 players will probably hurt us this year, unless a couple of players really step up. So who do you think is ready to become a top-5 player (in 2018)?
I'll go Jones, Weitering, Plowman or Marchbank (a bit concerned none of them are midfielders).
Defenders have significantly underperformed so far this year. After 6 rounds, I'd guess:
Cripps
Simmo
Fisher
Ed
Charlie
or maybe even Daisy.
