Kennedy

Will get more time in the middle with us and at the right age to start imposing himself with the help of Cripps.

Kennedy. More for his impact on releasing Murphy to play a more natural game. Seems like the definition of a 'glue guy' to me. Not the best player but vital to the whole.

Mostly Kennedy and Garlett, but an "all of the above" option would also be considered.

Kreuzer taps it to Patty, he rifles a handpass to Paddy… and Dow nails it on the run from the 50m line! :smoking:

I agree with this. I don't think Bam Bam will be the best of our new players, but his addition to the team will make us better because of the snowball effect he will bring.

x2

I've seen a few good Pick 3's.

Me too.

I think we drafted the best value from the Top 10 too: Dow and OBrien combo.

All the above.

Something about Schumaker, his left canon, his hard head, his big body, his name.
He's going to take Williamson's spot in pecking order me thinks.

The King is going to make it. Pick 30 for a reason, and ahead of Sam Hayes.

According to a poster on BF, he got a note from the club saying the numbers will be announced tomorrow night.

I'm predicting

2: (Vacant)
4: Dow
7: Kennedy
12: O'Brien
16: Mullett
18: Garlett
19: De Koning
21: Schumacher
24: Lang
27: O'Shea
37: Lobbe
43: Shaw
45: McDaid

I hope they're not leaving #2 for BSOS because IMHO that kind of nepotism should not be welcomed regardless of the family connection / fairytale etc etc.

Its not nepotism just because you suggest it.
That's fake news.

Traditional...his brother wore it a couple years prior, then Jack went to No 1 when it was available to keep up the tradition.

Sentimental reason.
Legendary lineage.

Most supporters appreciate the opportunity for its rareness. Brothers as No 1 and No 2.

If BSOS can make a fist of it, then great. If he doesn't ...Next! No harm done.

Prior to Jack and Ben, there were a lot of No 2's not named Silvagni.

Dow. An injury free year could see Dow rifle off the best first year from a Carlton mid since Murphy. Can see Paddy playing a similar game as Murphy next year. Don’t see why he couldn’t play as well as Andrew McGrath who was pick one, yet played mostly back to win the Rising Star Award.
