Really interesting...thanks.

Swaying towards 8 and 13 from Adelaide....that'd be nice!!

That was what I was thinking as well. Although in a deep draft 5 and 25 would probably be OK as well. 5 likely gets you one of Walsh, Smith, Rankine then take another mid at 25 or package 25 with Adelaide's 2nd and get back into the top 15

Very interesting reading. Although their chart rated this as being "fair", I can't see much value in swapping #1 for #2 & #62. The latter doesn't really have any value as far as I'm concerned. Not sure about #8 & #13 - I'd like to keep a pick in the top five. #5 & #25 is considered fair, so I reckon if we're offered #5 & better than #20 we should consider it.

Even better would be 1 + our end of first round PP for 5 and 8.

Apparently Kerr has re-signed for a year.
We all know which signature we want.

Again, why was Polson given a two year contract extension, especially before the end of the season?

A parting gift from the vet?

I blame the vet for a lot, but this wasn't him...

The list manager has all responsibility for contracts (since 2016)

Why does it matter? He's not taking up list room, he's most likely on under $150k a year and he's busting his gut trying to make it. If after 2 years of development he doesn't cut the mustard then so be it, but the kid has played a handful of games and I for one hopes he gets to play a few more. The VFL affiliate is not good development.

It doesn't really matter in the grand scheme but for someone who hasn't shown a great deal it could've waited until the end of the year.

Delist:

Rowe
M Shaw
O'Shea
Glass-McCasker

Which of this group stay and which go? It appears all are out of contract.
D Thomas
J Lamb
Mullett
N Graham
Kerridge
LeBois

Maybe Kerridge at a stretch, but realistically they could all go and we wouldn't notice.

Put one more preseason into LeBois. The rest gone. Daisy likely finishes top 10 in the b&f which I hope doesn't trigger any contract clause...but I'd expect a retirement announcement rather than a delisting.

Get Isner or Anderson.

Agree. the problem right now isn't the kids. it's the lack of supporting structure within the club to allow them to breed confidence & to develop. we lack a gameplan (chip sideways, chip sideways, turn it over and, marking the grass at the back over marking the opposing man, is not a gameplan) instead we're teaching the kids to plug up the dyke with their thumbs.

it's why we see our discards go on and actually contribute something at their new clubs. we never give them a chance here.

i'd unquestionably keep daisy for another year. he seems to have lots of run left, and he's more vocal and supportive on the field than what murphy is. he doesn't back away from anyone either.

we need a few old heads right now.

If our season continues this way then there should be no need to apply for a PP.
The AFL should ring us and simply ask how many do we want and what numbers?

Maybe that was the cunning plan all the time?

Bolton is the keyser soza (sic) of the AFL and SOS is Kobayashi

Watch the limp disappear come round 1 next year
