Should never have played after round one until he was 100% cherry ripe.

piss poor injury management continues.

If they're resting them both to get them 100%, I can live with that. We need to get past the philosophy of bringing players in and risking further damage (Murphy?)

I hate being so bloody negative and annoyed with our current predicament but our coach wants them to learn resilience and is playing them when not 100%. Definitely a huge issue that the medicos need to stand up too.

Agreed
We're not in finals contention and we need to keep exposing kids to AFL so my old fashioned, unscientific rule is, "if they're ready, give them another week to be certain, then a run at VFL level for a week"

Marchbank, Kruezer and Kennedy have suffered from a panicky coaching group who played them prematurely

Don't blame the coaches.
The "medical staff" clear them to play.
That area needs a massive revamp.

You do know that Marchbank and Kennedy have a history of being injured at their previous club. Kruezer also has had a lot of injuries while at the blues.

The bodies of these players just can't handle AFL football.

Considering Kreuzer has played 167 games of AFL football and will most likely play over 200 that seems a little bit of a stretch.

I'd be interested to see what Port Adelaide's fitness guru Darren Burgess is doing now that Arsene Wenger is gone from Arsenal. Will Arsenal maintain his services and if not will he be interested working at another AFL club? He's probably on Port's book in a consultancy role but he may be worth looking at if the club is looking for fresh blood in this department.

Kreuzer plays injured.
Last year he crashed and jumped into Gawn and beat him.
Last week Kreuzer didnt/ couldnt jump and was largely ineffective controlling Gawn.
No way was Kreuzer fully fit last week.

When Kreuzer is fit, you know about it.

So what you are saying is the medical staff are telling BB players aren't fit to play and he is telling them to #* and playing them!
I don't think so.

Kennedy :yikes:

That's ridiculous. Why?

Because our medico is Dr Fibonacci
I'm tipping Pickett is 5 weeks away and Murphy won't be seen for another 8 weeks

More injuries to some players in the VFL today.
Might struggle to field a team next week.
