Getting numb to losing is one thing, but when you start getting numb to season-ending injuries, that’s concerning.

"Season-ending injuries" doesn't really have the same ring to it in R21.

yes but interesting fact on Sunday -North played 31 players for the season and have 12 players who have played every game this season - do we have one that has played every match this season cant think of one

Season might be a little better if we only had to play 31 players

We have used 36 players this year - 9 on list yet to play
Only Rich- WC Port North Adelaide and Brisbane have used less
All others have used 36 or more with the AFL Average being 36.16

another myth debunked

that injuries are the reason we are so bad

Nearly every club except the tigers have been struck by injuries

A bit of context is required here.Of the 40 Senior list players, 2 namely Docherty and Williamson will both miss the full year.Macreadie been been largely injured for the year and could hardly have been considered.I suspect he may get a game in the next couple of weeks.
De Koning and Schumacher are both developing and need weight.I do think either may get a game by year end as a taster.

Of the 5 rookies, Silvagni missed the year. Le Bois was on the verge and did his collarbone early on versus Frankston.Since then a Hammy has finished his season.JGM has been very much injury interrupted as had McDaid.Shaw was tried and was not up to it.

As you can see there is nothing left to select except the 2 kids.

All his ignores the injuries and missed games to many others.Statistics will show that our players have missed the largest aggregate number of games of any club.

that injuries are the reason we are so bad

Who is saying that injuries alone are the reason we're bad?

So you agree that having less injuries means teams perform better?

I think an end of year “games lost to injury” analysis will rebunk any “myths” very quickly.

Is there a stat for “players lost to injury before half time”?

Yes 2 is a lot different to 12 Sydney surely just on continuity grounds

Good try myth not debunked at all on those figures and given Doc Willo and silvagni haven’t got on the park at all no debunking of myth
All 3 played a major part in our most of our wins last year

As I said Sydney not the whole reason but is one significant factor

Given Kreuz Murphy Marchbank Kennedy would be lucky to play half the games this season I wonder how North would be without Ziebell Goldstein Thompson and say Anderson for half the season

How would they go on top of that if Tarrant their best defender didn’t play for the whole season like Docherty

Not the whole reason Sydney but a significant factor so stop denying it and blaming the coach for it all he has to accept some part of it sure but injuries have cruelled our chances this year and if you are being objective at all you will recognise this fact

No, I'm sure Sydney is correct about Cripps and SPS.

It is not just the coach it is the entire coaching team and club.
You can not complain about injuries when you trade for players who have struggled to get on the paddock.
You can't complain about age profile of the list when you created the list.
You can't complain about Graham butchering the ball when he has been there for 6 years
You can't complain about Jones leaving his man when you implement a zone defense
You can't ask why player x is unaccountable when you player zone defense
You can't complain about lack of quality on the list when you have the most 1st round draft picks
You can't complain about the medical staff when you employed them
You can't complain about kids getting injured when they are playing against men
You can't complain about Weiters form when you didn't allow the kid to settle
You can't complain about Murphy being captain when he has been allowed to be it for 6 years

See Frank there is always an excuse and for the first time ever the club admitted it created this mess and silly supporters have ridiculed them for it.

The sooner they stop looking for excuses anf start excepting that no one else is going to get them back on the winners list other than themselves the better off they will be.
But this current lot embrace a plan and drop it as fast as they embrace it.
They keep telling us that they know what they are supposed to be doing but results suggests that they well and truly don't have a clue

Tim and Garry on SEN peddling the rumour that Kreuzer and Marchbank may have OD’d on caffeine tablets which caused their heart issues.

If true then the doctor should be sakced immediately.

Apart from alertness, what would that much caffeine provide as a benefit?

Clubs have apparently been using caffeine tablets on game day for a while. Can't imagine Kreuzer would be taking them at training though. So clearly something broader is an issue.
