Can't help feeling Murph will get up for this one.

He came straight back in for the Melbourne game & re-injured

So I hope they don't rush again.

This season has taught me to keep expectations low.

Every time the list gets closer to zero, a few more go down to square the ledger.

It’s sad but I’m actually hoping Murphy doesn’t play, if he does I fully expect him to be less than 50% fit, have minimal impact and probably break down half way though the game.

I agree, it would be disappointing if he came back not quite 100% just to play in Simmo's 300th and re-injured his foot.

He really should come back through the VFL. His match fitness would be way down and would be a liability in the seniors.

And yet, the sad reality, still be more valuable than half the team on the day.

Do we take our $20k fine for sending Polson back on without following proper concussion protocol as another sign that our fitness and medical team need to be put on notice?

kinda hope so DS.
really embarrassing and upsetting too for our players.
Gotta be on the ball, and keep the big picture in mind.
shortcuts or ineptitude reflect badly on the club. if the footage was inadequate, then damn well go and get clear footage.
Do your job!

I hope the club sees the importance of our injury and player management in our overall long-term plan.

Whether this year is just a case of pure bad luck (unlikely IMO) or poor practices, the club needs to make the improvement of this area its highest priority.

It doesn't matter what else we do, if we continue to go through season after season with a revolving door of players as we have for so many years, this team is going nowhere.

Remember the time it looked like our injury list was nearly down to zero?

LMAO
