Continuity and cohesion are only now starting to be measured/quantified in AFL circles but I think they play a big part.

Again, what does 'Injury-tracker Macka' do, apart from reporting the injury status of players?

Carlton's shocking injury run has continued, with dynamic young forward Charlie Curnow the latest to join the Blues' long injury list.

Curnow rolled an ankle at training on Tuesday and will miss this week's game against Adelaide.

Scans confirmed the injury was not serious, and the Blues had hoped he would get up for this week. But the ankle has not recovered in time for Curnow to play.

Ruckman Matthew Kreuzer is expected to be fit for this week's game and be named in the team later on Thursday, while the Blues remain hopeful captain Marc Murphy could be fit to return in one to two weeks.

MORE TO COME

You really have to start to question our medical staff.

Hopefully it gives Kerr or Le Bois an opportunity. There's always positives.

We have nothing to lose. Just give some of these kids an opportunity before everyone comes back.

Are we happy that Kerr is 'ready'? Has he been banging down the door? We'll find out tonight.

Can we have a Royal Commission into our injury management and conditioning?
