It's a great show of faith by Puma who have been sold on the hope of getting onboard at the start of a glorious era.

The clubs commercial sponsorship team must have delivered a ripping presentation to Puma. Well done !

Agreed, the club have obviously done a great job selling their vision.

This guy is actually hitting it out of the park!

Would've preferred adidas

We were successful with them and if I recall, the Hawks and Pies had Puma

Adolf over Rudolf eh?

The only possible issue with a long-term deal like this is that what seems awesome now may not be so great in 6/7 years time.

IIRC quite a few EPL clubs have signed long deals like this, only to renegotiate them with competitors before the previous deal expires.

Which, I guess, is done by way of payouts etc made possible by the cash available in the newly negotiated deal.

Either way, this is a positive step.

Maybe its performance based?

Extra mil per year based on ladder ascent?

For sure. Prime time exposure would have a lot to do with it.

Nobody wants to be a pirate anymorrr. What is the world coming to? You raise 'em up right... pieces of 8 for scrubbing the deck...take them to robbing plunder and pillaging class after school...give 'em a parrot
And all you get is
But mummy... I want to be a stock broker! :hitcomputer:

No...adidas over Puma (don't give a toss about their Teutonic lineage)

FYI... Damian Barrett's podcast 'In the Game' features Cain Liddle this week. Well worth a listen.

Measured and sticks to the script. Members are the centre of a club. That’s a revolution in thinking at Carlton.

Liddle
Russell
Teague

...
Silvagni

Nothing runs perfectly but I’m comfortable with the people making decisions will for the most part get more right than wrong.

Nobody wants to jump ship again either.

Still plenty of work to do though, but from where this club was in 2015 (I had honestly given up mid Mick and was no longer a member) it’s at least on the right trajectory. We’re not even close to the best 6 teams yet though.
