It's a great show of faith by Puma who have been sold on the hope of getting onboard at the start of a glorious era. The clubs commercial sponsorship team must have delivered a ripping presentation to Puma. Well done ! |

The only possible issue with a long-term deal like this is that what seems awesome now may not be so great in 6/7 years time. IIRC quite a few EPL clubs have signed long deals like this, only to renegotiate them with competitors before the previous deal expires. Which, I guess, is done by way of payouts etc made possible by the cash available in the newly negotiated deal. Either way, this is a positive step.
