We need a president and CEO who are filthy and go public, not sook in the dunny's. We should be suing the AFL for their lack of transparency, and their clear favoritism towards certain clubs.

You watch them grant PP's to other clubs in future, and simply say "we got it wrong. oh well".

Absolutely, how can people not see this.

The end result? They bombed us back to the dark ages.

Because we rolled and went the appeasement path via Collins. He destroyed us in many ways. More so than Elliot ever did. And we've been ###### ever since.
Essendon* on the other hand went the complete opposite route after doing some truly horrible things. And come out smelling like roses! Why is that?
Appeasement and weakness get you where we are today.

You can not beat City Hall.
You can not beat City Hall!!

We of all teams should know that.

Sooking and complaining will achieve nothing except for the AFL to schedule a nightmare draw for us. Our CEO was right from the start, we don't need a PP, we will get better with the assets we have.

Gold Coast did not get a Priority Pick either, nor did Melbourne in 2012 (when they won 2 games).

The AFL should just purge it from the books completely.

You must be French.

If we can use the 2 picks to obtain the same player, what's the difference? The only thing that really matters is the outcome of the picks provided. Hopefully the club are spending their time looking forward instead of whingeing about what's in the past.

I harbour similar sentiments smithy, but we can only look forward to see the end of this patient, calculated rebuild.

I absolutely hate this Commission with a passion.

They take credit for the game's growth when the growth is organic from rusted on supporters generations of them.

I look at all the things they have stuffed up badly, not just for clubs, but the game and the consequences of those stuff ups for kids.

Some say the game is better today, when looking at skills of players, but when I explain the essence of the game Aussie Rules I grew up with, as opposed to the hijacked game called AFL, the rule changes, and ignorance of the spirit of the game, the AFL have really stuffed up the game.

The are City Hall, and they dictate like they are in the Dark Ages, in what seems an old school boys club. No transparency, no set rules, no accountability.

Elliot bad Collo good hurr durr.

Who gave up our stadium as an AFL venue?

Who sold us into that horrible new stadium deal.

Who rolled over and confessed expecting mercy from our enemies, only to be gutted in return.

You want to forget it and not talk about this because you are weak and do as your told. It should be yelled from the rooftops at every AGM as a warning! To be remembered!...not forgotten. Not just for the failings of Elliot but for the treachery of the AFL and Collins.

Fools. The only thing that will make this club whole again is to return home where we belong and undo the traitorous actions of the then AFL and Collins.
We were not like other clubs that could just relocate our home ground and move along. We have been a club with no purpose since then.

From Kouta-

“Unfortunately Ian Collins came along and he’s told the board members don’t even talk to the players, just stand there and have a look -- I felt like I was in a zoo. The culture just changed overnight.

“It’s sad to say.

“I walked in when I was 14, so in my head here I know exactly what the footy club’s all about…

“When it comes to the culture you can’t play with that. I think the three or four decades that the club created that culture was almost gone overnight.

Elliot good for first 10 years then horrendous thereafter ran club into the ground

Collins was the saviour of our club Smithy more than Pratt or anyone

People have no idea the sacrifices that he made to keep us afloat

Was one of the primary reasons and actors responsible for us continuing as a club

Went to a meeting at the football club -not a public one -where everyone wanted to throw in the keys Collo defiant no way he was going to let this proud footy club die

Collo is a star
