If that JLT1 game was Daisy in good form then I shudder to think what would constitute poor form.

No greater example of the game being 90% above the shoulders...which is why we're a very good chance. We'll want this more than them, IMO.

I reckon Blues by 23pts. No greater example of a Premiership hangover.

I'm with you guys!

Baffles me....

Also gives me hope
I'm surprised with Mullet... He may have a 'role' that I didn't quite see in the JLT.. We'll see tomorrow night I guess... I'll keep an eye on him

Didn’t know we were even playing tomorrow night with 90% of the media talk about this game all week being about Richmond.
We’re largely expected to just roll over and get pummelled.

And if we beat Richmond it will still be all about them as the press runs with 'Premiership hangovers' ...

Oh FFS, Who gives a @#$%&! what the press or anyone else thinks? All I want is we continue to develop and win matches. What a bunch of overpaid under qualified media hacks has no bearing.

Seriously, how the @#$%&! did that team win a flag??

I totally understand your sentiments.

On the GF day from about the 10 min mark it looked like Adelaide took the foot off the gas and didnt take them seriously.

Complacency from the opposition is why the Tiggers won: no doubt.
Proof will be next week's GF replay.

- At the end of 2010, Gary Ablett Jnr left Geelong. Geelong won the Premiership in 2011.
- At the end of 2013, Buddy Franklin left Hawthorn. Hawthorn won the Premiership in 2014.
- At the end of 2016, Brett Deledio left Richmond. Richmond won the Premiership in 2017.
- At the end of 2017, Bryce Gibbs left Carlton....

Just saying....

Glad we are back on track to tonights game and the season ahead.

Great post!

@#$%&! Im edgy because I believe in Bolton's Blues.

Even on every line.

I just want to see Murphy dominate and help us win, and not get rag dolled.

Take to me to the Worry Room.

We get pumped in stoppages. We don't hold our tackles.

I think Martin will blow us apart when he goes forward.

I have been saying we would win this game ... but reality is starting to bite.

I'm not saying we can't win but we will need to go to a new level of desperation. Martin needs to be hassled by as many players as possible just like we did with Abblet last year.

Castagna ripped us one last time.
Nobody even knew who he was before that game.

I think a lot of the Tiggers slipped under the radar last year.

That won't be the case this year and that will make a huge difference to how well they go - starting with their first loss tonight.

Lets suck them into a zone then break them open on the outside with pace and skill

Fish Gartlett and Murph to burn them off

I think you're onto something Rexy.

Disciplined zone defense and there's a bit of added pace, as mentioned, and there's also quicks Dow and SPS.

Also noticed in the JLT, whilst he didn't score goals, hard running Mullett made himself an option running into open goals a few times. He could've snagged a few.

We didn't cope with Hawthorns pressure at all in the first quarter of the JLT game.
Let's hope we settle into this game a bit quicker because the pressure will only be greater.
