Really feel for the fella.

Was showing signs that he was going to explode in the AFL this year.

4 years in the system and injured most of the time.

10 games underdone last year.

His luck will turn along with ours.

Good luck and look forward to injecting his express speed in the 22...

...sooner than 3 months.

So disappointed. He was really starting to have some self-belief and was hurting the opposition on the scoreboard.

Get better soon

Terrible news for Pickett. Hope he keeps his head up and fit over the next 3 months.

Presumably this opens the door for Garlett (if available?) or possibly Polson.

We cannot take a trick. When was the last time we had a decent run of injuries?
Shame about Pickett, his pace was something we could worry Richmond with.

EFA

Get it right, they are tricky injuries. Good thing is he can keep his fitness up.
Bad news but good luck to the kid... He's shown a lot

Go you good things

If they weight his other wrist for training so it balances the cast, he can still run and get his tank up. There are much worse injuries. Timing is bad but that's all there is to it. This will be a test of Doc's leadership.
Garlett gets his chance.

I wonder if Lang will be considered? He didn’t play JLT obviously, but if his training loads are at the right level they might throw him straight in anyway?

Was there an intra club? Did Lang play?

Word is Houli won't be playing, so at least we don't need to be worried about him giving our players accidental concussion this time.

Surely his forearm has recovered from that vicious headbutt?

As much as he didn't overly impress me against the Saints, I'd play Garlett as Picketts replacement. We need some X factor in the front half and he's about the extent of it available.
