I think you're onto something Rexy.

Disciplined zone defense and there's a bit of added pace, as mentioned, and there's also quicks Dow and SPS.

Also noticed in the JLT, whilst he didn't score goals, hard running Mullett made himself an option running into open goals a few times. He could've snagged a few.

Yep add Wow to also burn them off.

SPS is an inside distributor like Diesel was. Sublime engine room talent. You'll miss half his work if you don't watch closely. Look for the tiges to 'test' him out with some physicality. I think he'll thrive on it.

Mullett ? Hope he surprises me.

We didn't cope with Hawthorns pressure at all in the first quarter of the JLT game.
Let's hope we settle into this game a bit quicker because the pressure will only be greater.

That was worry room material, but then our third quarter was awesome.

Consistency will be an issue all year during a game with a new attacking flair.

That Hawthorn game was perfect preparation.

I can’t see us winning.

But have to push them.

We're nowhere near ready yet but it's so exciting watching the early days of SPS, Dow, Curnow, Weitering, Fisher, Marchbank, Silvagni etc. We'll look back on these days with great fondness when we're a strong team again. Shame Docherty, Williamson and Pickett aren't out there but on the bright side we know what they'll add when they come back.

An exciting glimpse of the future tonight.

Heading off to the game in about an hour.
No trains on the Hurstbridge line, shocking timing.
I just hope we are not embarrassed and we don't have the media going on about us not deserving prime time games.
Go Blues.

That's why I'm not going. Trains [REDACTED] up and anti-IS terrorist parking protocol means we're on our knees in this once great state.

Lucky we still have electricity - for now.

But that's OK, because the roads are clear and un-congested and everyone can afford a home!

Well, you don't want to get there in time for the flag unfurling anyway

Heading off to the game in a hour or so. Brothers girlfriend works at Peter MacCallum opposite the Fitzroy gardens and has organised parking for us  A bit of a walk through the gardens to the G, but its looking like a nice evening for a stroll.

Bloody Richmond. This is what I am not looking forward too. After winning the flag last year they'll be more feral than ever, but if we win, its going to make for one sketchy walk home through those gardens after dark ... :fight:

Its our job to clean the streets and bring back some normality to Melbourne.
It starts with Richmond's opponent.
Carlton has a job to do.

I believe the footy world is ready for Tigers frantic frenzy football. Ratten started it with Setanta and his 3 Amigos.
But if you cut supply in the clearances and minimise turnovers as would be the plan, you just have to make sure you score more.

I still have that child like cockiness and sly belief we will win.
No one knows what they will get from Carlton tonight.
No ceiling.

:censored: Im as toey as a Roman sandle.

Have traveled past the G and 10 stations on my way home. Yet to see a single Carlton supporter.
