Sat on the wing in the rain with my 8 yo daughter - she figured we were wet anyway after walking from Sydney Boys High might as well be soaked - she got to high five Eddie Betts after the game - something she will never forget.

I want to watch the game in a Carlton supporters area.

Any idea where that is this weekend at the SCG?

Not interested in SCG or Swans members areas, other than for pre game dinner.

My kids don't want to hang out with their Swans supporting mates, and their dad wants to drink beer, spill it and scream his lungs out.

My kids want to be with Carltonians for the last round!

Help
I used to head up for this game (when at the SCG) and catch up with a SCG member mate... But... Got sick of losing, putting up with their supporters who know sh!t all about the game, watching with a pole or two in the way and the general crap you have to deal with getting to and from the ground with Sydney's traffic and lack of transport.....
Other than that, usually a good weekend

Go you good things

Your description is spot on. The losing is shitty given you travel from so far.
The win in the wet after the Carltonians 5 hour drinks/lunch with Syd Jackson on our table, was most enjoyable.

We are meeting players tomorrow at training then have a big group to enjoy the game.

I think our kids are going to frustrate Swans plans...and the oldies or those on the outer Thomas Boeky Simmo and Casboult playing for more than a win.

Jones will want to finish off with another BIG SCALP to end the year with aplomb.

Gibbs may also rise for the occasion to prove a point: his value to Crows and/ or his commitment to Blues.

Prior to Hawks game, our GF, I thought the Swans need for percentage and the kids tiring from constant losing would see us capitulate

Young team, following a huge win, travelling interstate, fusing the bond, nourishing the spirit...could get up.

Now that I would not have minded travelling for even when we got flogged.
Mind you, had the 5 hour drinks/lunch, just without the great Syd or in the company of the Carltonians

Can they bring back TDL to re-enact the chase down in the final?

Tippet looks like he is that way inclined.
Not sure if he is Armfield's type
