Sick of this s@#t.

SOS and the vet have used up all their grace and benefit of the doubt this year. Next year no excuse.

And the board should have sacked themselves 2 years ago.

Hey Bleuy,

Time for a beer, relax.

Greenshoots everywhere.

SPS, Sos, weiters, etc etc. and;

when Cripps and Ed return from injury we'll be fine.

Bolts sos the vet and the board know what they're doing, and they are doing it well.

We'll win one before the drug cheats and many others beside.

On the right path.

Fine, have your lols and be smug.
I'd rather stop winning spoons.

Yes we have some great young kids who have tried their hearts out tonight. I'm very happy about that.

But when does it stop?

When do we stop blaming the umpires and talking about hypothetical wins if so and so was available for selection?

Great effort but when people say that a win would be meaningless then I'm sorry I can't agree. I don't care if that draws lols from the 'wise ones'

Thanks Ockham. Appreciate it.
But it just feels like the same things people were posting in the pagan days.

Sick of dancing with sisters.

Totally understand bluey

Reckon it's different to the Pagan era

It's slowly changing and next year will be a big year

Given how we've progressed the past 2 years we'll be ok

Yeah you are right. Who we have available for selection due to injury has nothing to do with our ability to win. :banghead:

We are only missing 30% of our top ten players from last years B&F.

It's all part of it. Another draft. Another crop of young players. Another year of Bolts getting their message and style across. Blue skies ahead.

Quite enjoyed the game. Loved our intensity in the 3rd qtr, & the fact we were able to change the game style.

Boekhurst's goal was a beauty, Pickett did some more nice things, & good game from Murph.

Totally different to the Pagan era.
For one, this crop of kids is much more talented
Secondly, our coach has a clue, and our list manager is a shrewd operator.
Thirdly, the Club is united and not stuck in the 'We are Carlton, f$&k the rest' era. The

I thought we would lose by 60+

Didn't watch the game, but the score alone says we aren't far away from the ING great.

Well he should have been fresh ... he hadn't touched it before then. Except for the one on the half time siren that he shat himself over and coughed up.

Wow. People are really determined to pot him aren't they? He's close to the boundary 50m out and the vice captain leads and calls for it and he gives it to him. Terrible. Haha.

Try watching the game. The ridiculous forward 50 entires to his disadvantage in the first half was crazy.

The stats have me confused though:
8 possessions
7 disposals
7 effective disposals
100% effective disposals
3 clangers???????

6 marks
3 tackles

Just watched the third quarter (missed it earlier). Great signs from SPS, Fisher, Pickett, SOJ, Willo and BB. Some of Fisher's one touches at speed were outstanding. BB could be very good.

Intrigued by the different game style tonight (quick play on, much more handball and overlap run). Is the MC trying something new, or was it specially designed for West Coast?

Pros:
Gibbs, Murph and Docherty.
The youngsters. Thought Williamson and Weitering were pretty good tonight. Some exciting glimpses again from Pickett.

Cons:
Liked that Thomas got more of the ball. But thought his ball-use was awful.
Like how Jones attacks the ball in the air, but made some fairly dumb mistakes tonight that let the Eagles in for goals.

Fisher needs to back his ability to get into space and kick...handballs too much (they're good handballs but to players who aren't as skilled as himself by foot)

I'm in the minority but I reckon SPS doesn't do enough (regardless of stats and his preseason)

Why was Cunningham dropped?

We have to be one of the worst handballing sides in the AFL. Zac Fisher and SPS should be our handball coaches...loopy handballs are driving me...well, loopy

Was at the ground, first time I've braved the Eagles crowd in over a decade.

They are such a bunch of tool supporters. They sit in silence until....

1: They kick a goal (orgasmic, pant filling, self adulating cheers)
2: We are kicking for goal (boos, boos and more boos)
3: The umpires need assistance (one guy consistently calling out to the ump that our kicks hadn't gone ten metres, justifying to us all how out of touch these supporters are with the game.)

They watch the game live like they are watching a television.

Thought we played reasonably well. Fisher had a great game, he's going to be a player.

Great effort.

Levi had every reason to look for Gibbs before siren - is he psychic with regards to siren times? Leave him the f*ck alone - great game, all things considered. He might not make it long term, but he actually gives a toss.

Pickett arrived tonight, I think. No?

Where would we be without Gibbs? And to a lesser extent, Murphy and Kreuzer? Lack of class has hurt us considerably this year, but Bolton et al are on the right path. We need the class while the others catch up.

SOJ - work it out, FFS! Don't be a fringe player for years on end. You have something, apart from your genes. It's early, but you are one of those players who can be great or nothing. Great clutch goals. Keep it up.

Plowman will have a solid underrated career and tonight was one of those underrated performances.

Weitering will star next year, with some decent recovery. Pretty solid tonight.

Jones made mistakes but he backed himself against a pretty handy forward. Top season regardless.

Possibly Army's last game. Would've loved to win for him. Great competitor and great farewell message to fans.

There's hope for Boekhurst yet (still not convinced he'll last) - a goal of the year candidate to go with his winning hairstyle (smother/intercept included) and some great forward assists at clutch times.

Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do... such a talented footballer, what a shame we got him when his body refused to do what his footy brain told it to...but still some nice moments. Had a bit to say when the game was on the line.

Does Simmo have a liking for Subi? Another game where he can spread and favour his left foot? A bit stiff in some umpiring decisions?

Charlie effectively targeted by WC with doubling up of defenders? Poor delivery on our part? Lots to like with Bolton's chess moves though.

Some better skills overall and this game a gimme. WC are front-running soft roosters and will be wasting everyone's time (again) if they make the finals.

Please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please pick the greatest gun in the known universe if we happen to bottom out, despite a reasonably competitive season.

Only one flogging for the year so far. Let's keep it that way, and can we next week, just for once, catch those baby-poo wearers with their trousers down? And deny Hodgey (great player that he is, but not the point) a final wanky testimonial game, with a crushing shove into a strategically placed point post? Not too much to ask.
