But how great was Levi's last quarter under pressure kicking? Good to see everybody here complimenting him for it.......oh wait.....people only comment when he misses. My bad.

Well he should have been fresh ... he hadn't touched it before then. Except for the one on the half time siren that he shat himself over and coughed up.

Wow. People are really determined to pot him aren't they? He's close to the boundary 50m out and the vice captain leads and calls for it and he gives it to him. Terrible. Haha.

Try watching the game. The ridiculous forward 50 entires to his disadvantage in the first half was crazy.

The stats have me confused though:
8 possessions
7 disposals
7 effective disposals
100% effective disposals
3 clangers???????

6 marks
3 tackles
Clangers are free kicks he gave away

Oooooohhhhhhh ok that makes sense. Thanks Sydney Blue.

Great to see handball re introduced to our gameplan. Less than half as many bombs down the line to "the best contested mark in the game" that amount to nothing.
Created overlap and goals over the top like we haven't seen this year.

Can easily for give Kerridge and others for ballsing up handpass chains as it is the start of a good thing.

Overall I am pleased with the game and hope with more class in the lineup in years to come we will execute those attacking plays with ruthless efficiency.

I was super impressed with us. How they get up each week mentally is a gigantic credit to the coach and team spirit.
I just can't wait for 2018. Completely sure we will make the 8 and now it seems we will be able to play with a more exciting game plan. Yay! Go us.
Amazing how much we miss Ed Curnow. He is a huge asset in our team. And a young fella called Cripps. We will have him back in. Hand me some shades...things are getting radiant around CFC.

Preferred a win but very happy with the effort and the 2game styles we are developing.

I think it will serve us well in the future having the really dour defensive game then mix it up with fast line breaking handball game when the opposition least expect it.

It may click next year, or may need another year. I can wait for that.

Umpires will always feature in WCE wins over there, get use to it.

Missing those 5 shots at goal would have won they game for us. Easy shots too.
Can't say it was fatigue, other than perhaps the kids like SOS2.
A few attempts to spoil by Jones didn't come off. I wish he connected to Kennedy's back, shoulder or head...we would have won.

I'm convinced in Fisher. The little signs I have seen are too consistent to ignore from a first year undersized player.
SPS is magical. He isn't lightning but he's sneeky and really smart, and what about the poise.
Curnow is already a star imo. McKay will have a big preseason and he will be another Kennedy when he fills out.

Backline was good and dependable. Forwards just need stamina and strength. Just give us to add a few quality mids to those missing in Cripps and Curnow.
Only a few more pieces to the puzzle to go.

This year isn't about wins and losses.
Having said that, next week is OUR Grand Final.

Very happy

We play them in Melbourne and we win.

We kick those 5 gettable goals in the second q. and we win.

We play a few more blokes with quality disposal (as opposed to blokes who try bloody hard but can't reliably kick)... and we win.

Me too.
I'm know you're not alone thinking we need to move the ball quicker and our game style was dour.
The trick is to not get to high and not get too low.
In your case don't get too happy and don't get too angry with the development of this team of the future.

There's something brewing there BS.
Preseason drills focussed on running ahead of the play to speed up our ball movement.
Tried to produce that type of footy in the forst 4 games and we got found out.

We don't have the strength and stamina to play that style for 4 quarters.

What we did unearth last night was players with genuine speed in particular Pickett and Fisher.
Add Cunningham to them and there's some speed to add to our Blue Collar like BB team.

I can see us stepping up another level in 2018 following another preseason for the kids and a few new quality players.
I can see us playing finals in 2019 if not 2018 following another preseason for the kids and a few new quality players.

WE just need to recruit a few more quality mids over the next 2 years to replace Gibbs and Murphy plus add some to Cripps, Curnow Curnow, SPS Cunners and Fish. That couldn't be too hard.
Maybe Boeky will make it too and Willo plays wing

Although we didn't win I thought it was our best game of the year , great to see attacking footy , we get cripps and curnow back, mc Kay & Kerr ? Into our forward line, some more smart recruiting and things are looking bright for the old dark navy blues, am looking forward to 2018 and beyond , keep it going for the next two weeks and what a positive way to head into preseason

Who knew we had attacking flair? Surprised me for sure, but it was great to see

Loved Boekys blind turn, maybe he is more than a haircut :)

I was away over the weekend and have only had limited internet and no Foxtel. I have recorded the match so plan to watch it tomorrow.
I must say there really is little AFL on free to air TV. No Saturday afternoon game which I was surprised about.
Sounds like another honourable loss and some good signs from the youngsters.
Oh well, there is always next week.

Would have been more honourable if we'd managed to smash Sam Mitchell's smug little face in, but honourable nonetheless.

.... Away and haven't seen any of it... Can't wait to see the 'attacking flair'... Probably just as well I didn't watch it at home. The discussion about umpiring decisions leads me to believe it may have cost me a TV!?

Go you good things

That's impossible. Who did the other coach give 4 votes to?
