Good intent, should have won

Silvagni could've iced the game with that shot early in the last quarter.

Their bad kicking kept us in it, our bad kicking gave it back to them.

Glad we fought it out.

They're shit.

There can be no more defending of Levi.
He's s dead set liability.

And we are worse with our senior players letting us down again and effing again - jack shit kicking again. Should refuse to taken any pay after that.

Only ever in it on the scoreboard.
If they had have kicked straight they would have won by fifty points.
Levi missed his obligatory one from twenty out in the dying moments but Silvagni missed a sitter, Gibbs missed a sitter, somebody let Tippingwoody run free in the middle of the ground. Simpson's last four possessions went straight to Essendon* players.
Blame Levi all you like but the momentum was killed long before then.

The score flattered us.
Our game plan is crap.

F&c71ng Simpson! Three critical turnovers by Simpson, shitty umpiring and bad kicking cost us the match!

Frightening that Richmond seemingly think he's the cream on the cake

Lacked compusure when it counted, sadly. Couldn't finish it off, again.

They missed chances but so did we. Jack kicks that goal and who knows?

Great game SPS and Jones. Good signs from Pickett.

Levi and Simmo dead set liabilities.

5 wins, 6 times led in the last qtr and lost. Could've been so much better a year. Not that you expect to win all 6 but that's potentially 11 wins. Disappointing to lose after leading by 10pts late.

SPS, Silvagni, Pickett. Really strong showings from these young guys.

Tackling and intensity from earlier in the year was back in the last three quarters, need to bring it for four quarters every week.

Jones last three quarters, he's a beauty.

Tough game, footy. Takes four quarters to win a game and only a few seconds to lose one. Our young guys will learn a lot from today.

Simpson's kicking was awful today.

Marchbank and Plowman are rock solid down back. Docherty is a star!

8 more scoring shots, their poor kicking kept us in it, and we just didn't take our chances at the end. Hooker owned Weits in the crunch contests late last qtr, that was disappointing.

Honest effort, can't ask for much more.

Funny isn't it....our missed shots will get talked about as late in the game.....not their 11 in a row

Only seen the 2nd half.

Pros:

Loved the competitiveness, we've been missing the last few weeks. I suspect picking a quicker team probably helped.
Senior quartet of Kreuzer, Docherty, Murph and Gibbs.
Jones.
Accurate kicking for goal.
Thomas looked better than he has for a while.
Really enjoyed a few things Pickett did.
SPS.
Even though Hooker turned the game, I thought Weitering looked far better than he has for a while.
Still in the race for Rayner.

Cons:

We allowed that spud Hooker to have an influence on the result.
Couple of shocking turnovers from Simmo.
Casboult's inability to kick a goal under the pressure of a tight finish.
SOJ missed one late he should have kicked as well.
