A real chance tonight.
Would be happier if the Cats had played a tough close one in Adelaide last week .
Would also prefer Motlop playing.
Without cripps and ed it would be a huge ask, even if I don't really rate them that highly and are massively carried by their top 2.
I'm thinking an honorable loss. We need a few guys to play out of their skins (Gibbs, Murph, Charlie to kick 4 etc)
It will be interesting to see what they do if Scott Selwood goes to Gibbs. We probably can't afford to have Bryce get the pill about 10 times. Send him forward?
Definitely not. We sent him forward early last week which is a reactive measure. Brisbane wanted to expose our limited midfield and removing Gibbs gave them exactly what they wanted.
We need to take the ascendancy. If Selwood goes to Gibbs, we need others to give blocks and to be physical with the tagger. I'd suggest thats part of White's role. If that fails, I'd send Gibbs to Joel Selwood at the stoppages and create a 2 on 1. That should free up one of our other mids. If Scott Selwood drops off, I'd be happy enough to see Gibbs go head to head with Joel Selwood.
If they're tagging, we have the ascendancy. Its up to us to capitalise on it.
Yep, going forward was clearly an error last week, but we did do it.
Rockliffe isn't a tagger and he appeared to get away with murder last week, hopefully Gibbs gets some protection from the maggots as well.
Much of this will depend on Bryce and the team still being focused. I thought a highlight last week was it seemed like SPS got a bit of fire and Fish got involved a bit more.
If Fish, Cunningham and SPS can get it around 20 times each we are a real show.
