It doesn't surprise me as he was running away from physical contact and chasing opponents to make up for his turnovers.

Fixed your post.

The bench will be Cuningham, ASOS, Graham. Lottery for the last. Sheehan should be out for one of the other 3 IMO

Didn't think Byrne was anywhere near ready.
Hope Buckley's selection is legit. Hopefully his run with Cunners would be great to see.

I know they haven't many talls , I am just pissed off that they left Macreadie out Effes.

I really like the way he goes about it.

No doubt he will get his chance again.

We're bringing back ASOS to play in defence.

I hope you're right Jim.

If not I will be even more pissed off.

Just don't see the point in bringing back the same players that let us down time and time again.

Totally agree.

Of course, I preface it with the "they're the ones entrusted to make the call" line but FFS, what benefit is there in dropping him?

This is EXACTLY what I keep harping on about...dropping some players and not others. The 'like for like' argument doesn't wash with me as we are supposed to be building a flexible team who could be asked to play in a foreign position etc.

We could easily have kept Macreadie and used Weitering up forward for a while, or even give Macreadie a taste of the forward line or dare I say it, give Jones a short spell up forward
Bolton talks about enduring...well, sometimes you need to also endure in a foreign part of the ground; after all, its all about growth and experience

On another note, bit disappointed that Smedts couldn't make the squad...maybe he has been asked to work on certain areas

Hopefully a bench of Cuningham, ASOS, Graham and Sheehan.

Glad to see Byrne back in, just over a year ago the media were talking about him along with Cripps, Docherty and Weitering as one of our young stars. Hopefully he can get a good run at it now.

Calm down most of the ins won't play on Sunday.

We have to pick an extended squad and a lot of the list is still crap

Not sure if there is a good match up for ASOS this week, hope Cuningham, Buckley, Boekhorst and Graham make the cut this week.

I would have thought Smedts would get a recall on exposed form in the twos. He and BB got the biggest praise from Fraser. Buckley doesn't seem to have captured the zing he showed early I would like to see him get a run at some stage. He plays like there is no tomorrow. If Bolts wants run, he will get it from Dylan.

With no Cripps and the Dogs under the pump, I've got a horrible feeling we might get pants'd in this one.
