Agree with all of them except for Vince. Seems like a good bloke to me. But I would add Hogan to the flog list

PROS

Charlie proving he will be a gun key forward. Wasn't sure he could at his height but he proved it yesterday that he has the presence/leap and the running skills to take his game to the next level as a key forward. And is now running to the right spots to find the ball which you can see the players actually look for him when they get they it.

SOS getting reward on the scoreboard.

Thought that was Murphs best game since the Carey rumours come out. Gets no credit on here.

Doc moving into the middle which he will get plenty more chances.

Smashed Melbourne in contested possession and clearances without Cripps.

Jones doing well again.

CONS

Lack of composure by a number of players in the last 10min including experienced players like Simmo and Gibbs.

Thought Cripps letting Oliver run wild was fairly ordinary in the first quarter. Matched up at stoppages then he just let him go no effort to chase or man up. Oliver's 13 disposals to Cripps 6 in the first quarter basically kept Melbourne in the game.

Lack of a shut down small defender.

Thomas tries but just lacks the pace and kick penetration to be able to make any meaningful contribution. Hope we don't sign him up again.

Fumbles Kerridge... if he fixed that part of his game up he would play 200 games.

Some of our players disposal eff % were terrible. Gibbs 52 Cripps 44 Thomas 47 Levi 50 Jones 55 etc.

All I can say is thank God we got rid of that stupid substitute rule, that was so unpopular, especially on here. Stupid, stupid rule. We're so much better off losing two players and being down two rotations.

Logic!!

Oh, and let's introduce more interpretations that have umpires have to decide what a player was thinking.

Oh, and then.... Let's slag off at the umps, who run 15 km in a game and have to make split second decisions when fatigued.

Gill McLaughlin..... F%^k the f#&(ING flower off you flower moron. I dont care how smashed avo, articulate you sound. You're a dud of the highest order. See how much more you can ruin this game.

Oh, and let's see how many months Cotchin gets.... Lol lol lol lol lol.

Wow, interesting votes. One of Curnow, Macdonald, or Petracca must have got 5 from one coach and none from the other. I'd love to know the how it went

These close ones are driving me crazy.Sure beat floggin's though i must say.All hope for a finals berth are completely gone now so it would be easy for us to go into our shells and fade away.Reckon these boys are made of sterner stuff than that and will relish the remaining matches...............reckon a big finish to the season is a must to stimulate supporter enthusiasm.Thought Kruez and Levi were mammoth myself.Kerridge despite his costl turnovers ran himself to a standstill. Its not the oldhands fault we are losing. The kids just have to find half a gear and we are away.

PS .........for effes sake sign up Gibbs,Levi, and Jones. They have been part of the foundations that have been layed and are VITAL cogs in the future of this club.Levi and Jones aint stars but aint slouches either.Would be insanity to break up the best big man combo in the comp.

Little surprised that Gibbs didn't feature in the coaches' votes.

Only saw a few minutes of the 2nd and last 15 mins of the 4th so I don't have an opinion on this specific game but if what one poster in the game said is true, that Melbourne played off him knowing his disposals would be ineffectual then that's a worry. But one persons opinion like that is subjective and impossible to prove.

It's hard to defend somebody based on "he tries hard" and "he has a high disposal count". He was equal high disposals for both teams yet didn't feature in the coach's votes. But neither did Doc or Gibbs. He's depth. He's back up. He tries hard.

He's a strong body who will give 100% every second he's out there. Right now he's needed to shoulder some of the load and protect the kids we have coming through from too much too soon, but he also sets a great example in commitment, endeavor, and work ethic. He'll continue to play a role for another couple of years.

Flogged?? Wasn't his best game but laughable to say Kreuzer was flogged.

Kreuzer 18 disposals 28 hitouts v Gawn 8 disposals and 38 hitouts

Plus we won the clearances easily

And he got a coaches vote.

I had him as far more influential than Gawn.

Look at effective hitouts, not just hitouts.
He wasn't as effective around the ground as he has been. Not compared to Gawn there.
Winning the clearances is not always a reflection of how a ruck plays but how the midfield plays the ruckmen's work.
I'm happy for him to get one vote from the coaches even though Levi had something like 15 marks, several hit outs and kicked at least one goal as well as getting the ball to ground inside the F50 several times for the crumbers.
I also thought Oliver had more influence on the game than Murphy and Jetta's own coach said he played ten good minutes.
That means Bolts probably gave him the one and The Melb coach gave Kreuz his one.
Not that it means anything really, who gave what to whom.
I still think Kreuzer was flogged in the ruck.
