They should've beat us by a lot more tonight.

- Poor tackling.
- Poor delivery inside 50.
- No run on the rebound.
- Shit umpiring.
- Just a shit night for football all round.

Until we learn to deliver inside 50, kick more goals, and set up better on the rebound, we're not moving anywhere for a little while.

New captain please.

Has to be Paddy.

Sign Cripps for life before he decides he doesn't want to carry this team anymore...

What a shit game

Smedts, Graham, Boekhorst, Pickett not AFL standard

Lamb taken out of the game early

Murphy, SPS, Plowman well down

Fumbles and missed tackles galore

......and we still could have won

Richmond are kidding themselves.

Only bright side is even when we are dead set shit we can be competitive against decent sides. That's about the only positive.

Out the back in the Robert Flower bar drowning my sorrows.
Just a terrible game from both sides, errors aplenty
We tried to slow them down and clog them up but this ruined our chance of winning the game.
Last game ever I'd suggest from boekhurst and smedts and prob graham
Hate losing to the neck tattoos

Never in it.
Our game plan depends on structure and when the opposition runs with four or five they always end up with more players inside fifty.
Bolts was outcoached tonight.
The ins were very ordinary although Graham was easily the best of them.

The scoreboard flattered us in the end. Should have been a 60 point loss.

On the positive side, I think that's the best game Cripps has played for a while. He and Martin two young bulls best on the ground for their respective teams. I liked that Cripps went forward and had some shots for goal including that great one on one mark against Martin who doesn't lose many of those.
C. Curnow another tease. He is going to be a superstar.

Houli will go but he had a good game and is one of the best kicks in the comp.

Murphy gone as captain. Give it to Cripps or Docherty. In fact trade Murphy whilst he still has some currency.

Charlie Curnow was my highlight of the day. 9 marks. His confidence is growing.

Our abysmal tackling was the lowlight.

Pros
We have improved since we played them in March.
Charlie C will be a star
Cripps is a beast
Docherty and Simmo gave their all
Jones was excellent. Hardly lost a contest.
Young Jack gives his heart and soul - will be very good
Plowman, Marchbank, Weitering all solid.
Levi - great pack parking and presence around the ground
Kreuzer - a great warrior.
Cons
Murphy - looking for the cheapy, not a leader by example. If he is not injured then he needs to take stock.
Smedts, Boekhurst, Graham, Pickett, Thomas not up to it.
Lack of class.
Poor tackling
Impotent forward line.

We have a young side. Bolton will help them learn from that.

They were able to transition the ball way too easily. Quite a few times chances for goals to us ended up scores for them.

Picked a bad side.

I don't think he was great, and he just shouldn't be allowed to kick, but I reckon Graham worked into it ok.

Who had the job on Prestia?

What would have been your alternative selections ?

Not sure how we trained this week. Reserves and seniors full of fumbles and turnovers. Maybe getting a bit ahead of themselves.

Bolton won't cop that.

Gibbs got a trial by media for that tackle on Gray in 2015 yet this turd Houli knocks out Lamb off the ball and the wanker commentators hardly mention it throughout the rest of the match. Gibbs was practically tried and convicted by the media for a clean tackle that had a bad outcome yet Houli with a dirty hit off the ball went untouched by the media. The only thing worse than the umpiring at a Carlton match is the f#(@!$^g commentating. Houli should get 5 weeks for the unprovoked hit!

A 2nd key forward to start with. Too often we go forward and no one tall is there.
