Highlighted on Footy Classified that he was standing in the same spot for 8 of the 11 kick-ins.

Get rid of runners. It is stupid having them. Maybe let teams have one member of the coaching panel sit on the opposite side of the ground than the bench.

Time to set a precedent and ban runners for filling space...

I watched him at length after half time. He was dead set cheating.
Running around following the ball, giving instructions and standing in the gaps.

Runner is supposed to give a message and run off. Like Walker was doing.
In U12 our runner gets warned for staying on the field. AFL, nil warning.

It looked pretty blatant that's for sure.

Just like his playing days.

Just standing in the backline giving instructions.

Every team plays the rules to the Maxwelimum.
When he gets pinged, they will stop otherwise they will stick to it, although I suspect after te TV brought it to the fore, he will preemptively stop.

They could suspend him off a crane. Let him hover over the ground with a radio mike. Wire in all the players. That'd work.
