Gotta think that Kruez would be in Oz All star contention, surely.....

Who has beaten him? Ryder? Sandilands was probably neutral.

Kruezer didn't play against Port

I was overseas for 3 games, so assumed he hadn't missed yet. Has he been beaten then?

Nice to see the club starting to get some kudos for its approach. Hopefully that starts us being a 'destination club' in the eyes of the prospective players who are looking to change clubs

Sandilands didn't win that many more hit outs but Kreuzer was quite a bit superior around the ground. Can't be far off All-Australian.

Mark Robinson has Jacobs in his half year all Australian team. Of course he does.

I'm surprised it's not Thomas Bellchambers. Or Simon Madden. :donk:

ahead of Ryder & Mumford... which places Kruezer at best 4th on his current list.
I'd have him as equal to any ruckman so far this year.
He has outperformed my expectations by a long way. Maybe we get the benefit of the same 'Magpie curse of Stevie J' that the kick-started Geelong's decade of dominance...

Fair assessment

Howard Kotton is a Carlton supporter, so he actually watches us play closely and is therefore reasonably informed. Unlike most AFL journalists who simply recycle what someone else has said.

AFL.COM.AU mid season All Australian team is out good to see Docherty which was a no brainer...still hurts to see 3 other ex Carlton players named in All Australian Betts, Kennedy & Jacobs.

However 10 out of 22 named I think have switched clubs so is a fact of life these days....
