I'd like to see our GWS boys up against there's despite that I believe:

Philips isn't needed and unsettles team balance
Sumner hasn't convinced me he should be in
Pickett has Boeky ahead of him

Jones seems to be in red hot form as a back an and should be in regardless of ones bias.

COS proved that NB good form is good form. Period.

Seriously, wouldn't surprise me to see Jones come in for Silvagni, Weitering to go forward.

Silvagni has been one of our most consistent. He isn't going anywhere just yet. Of Jones comes in it is more likely to be for McReadie.

Jones for Macreadie the only change for me. Everyone will be reset and fresh for the second half of the year.

Plus Boekhorst for either Sumner or Graham.

Boeky really deserves another shot at it

I really like the idea of a Boeky inclusion.
Whilst Graham deserved his spot after consistent form in the NB's, I'm not sure if Sumner earned his call up from consistent form in NB's given his absence with injury.

Weitering is valuable forward and back, even when he's not in top form, and whilst we can find relief for him in the backline with Jones, I think we should.
We have to find out as much as we can about our list over the next 12 weeks to ensure we make good calls.

I also love the way Macreadie goes about it too, and he is definitely a future star.

The pressure on spots is fantastic and is an important reason to believe in a promising future for the club.

I'd like to see Boekhorst get another opportunity but going on past selections, I'd expect Thomas is more likely to come in.

Which means there's alot of bluff and bluster about our selection policy. It has little to do with form

Thomas has played 1 good NB game and 1 good AFL game this year
Boekhorst has played a few good/promising NB games this year

Boekhorst's window of opportunity needs to be opened to see what he can do at AFL level. Thomas is a known quantity

Pretty sure he's felt the stiff breeze of opportunity blowing him over in the past.

That said, there is a different air around the place this year.

This is a good game to throw caution to the wind and give him another crack.

Can't really explain why, but I'm genuinely excited for this match, even though the likelihood is that we will lose quite comfortably.

I'm really keen to see how we measure up against an opponent of serious quality and whether we can cause them any serious problems. We should at least be well-rested and well-prepared.

I expect that they will have too much class and power, but I'm looking forward to seeing how we go.

He'd need to show a shitload more in the VFL before I'd want to see him in the side. Promotion by performance. That's it.

Pretty quiet around here.

It's a funny game this one and for us, there's always a chance.

We've probably been ten minutes of footy away from the quality sides.

We are coming in refreshed and ready to go.

It's the week before the bye for them.

Swiss cheese model as far as GWS are concerned.

No reason we can't pinch this one.
